The flower basket has no known use, except for decoration. It usually has flowers (such as the Blue Mountain Flower) in it, except for the one in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary.

The flower basket can be obtained from several locations and persons, including:
- Ysolda
- Two can be found Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary
- Randomly generated in forts and dungeons
- By the alchemist's body at Clearpine Pond
- Nilsine Shatter-Shield
- Several hundred Flower Baskets are sold by Sofie.HF
- On top of one of the tall bookshelves on the bottom floor of the Library addition in a homestead.HF
