Captive Souls is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online. Worm Cult Necromancers attacked a traveling merchant named Sia and her companion, Daeril. She escaped, but the Worm Cult captured her companion and their guards.

Walkthrough[]
Sia begs the Vestige to rescue her guards and her partner, Daeril, who were taken by members of the Worm Cult. She directs the Vestige toward the Worm Cult's camp just down the hill.
Down the hill, the Vestige will come across Worm Cult necromancers whom must be dispatched. Daeril can be found tied to a wooden post, and upon conversing with him, he reveals the Worm Cultists used "an ugly purple stone" called 'animus geode' to steal the soul of all four of his guards. Daedril wants the Vestige to free the guards' souls, and knows that this can be achieved by smashing the geodes.
After the conversation, Daeril is freed from his bindings and he immediately makes a run for it, fearful the Worm Cultists will return. The Vestige must search around the camp for the animus geode of Nerys, Liam, Wilhem, and Gerren and smash them.
Once the souls are freed, the Vestige should return to Daeril at Stillrise Village. Daeril is initially startled, but calms down once he recognizes the Vestige. Daeril admits to being fearful the necromancers had captured them and expresses sorrow over the fate of his guards. He will remain at the village until he is safe enough to travel.
The quest ends along with the conversation.
