Dharvek is an elf from Stormreach now operating as a smuggler and war profiteer in Fairhaven, Aundair.[1]

Description[]

Dharvek has a dusky skin tone.[1]

Personality[]

Dharvek is vain and refuses to adopt an epithet or title as other great criminals might. But he also has little interest in decadent living, preferring to spend his coin on consolidating his power and resources. He is a cunning strategist and whatever scruples he has are unknown, and he is a figure of mystery to many.[1]

Abilities[]

Dharvek is a skilled archer. He has the ability to phase through walls to avoid capture or being killed, and can dissuade nearby threats with a burst of shocking lightning.[1]

Possessions[]

Dharvek wears leather armor and wields a longsword, shortbow, and two daggers. He carries burning arrows.[1]

Activities[]

He trades illegal magical goods and weaponry, and occasionally funds expeditions to scavenge the ruins of the Mournland to recover contraband magical weapons and weaponry. Hence, he often works with adventurers, who will obtain his illicit goods or buy them.[1]

Base of Operations[]

Dharvek keeps a storehouse of his illegal weapons somewhere in the Whiteroof Ward of Fairhaven. It is guarded by traps and constructs.[1]

Dharvek often visits the Underquay tavern in Fairhaven. There, he does business or trades insults with members of the Dark Dagger Gang.[1][2]

Relationships[]

Dharvek is an up-and-coming rival to Kreelo, the boss of the Dark Dagger Gang.[1]

Dharvek operates with only a small crew of hired half-elves who are loyal to him.[1]

Dharvek has a bounty on his head from a number of Storm Lords of Stormreach, for which Tharashk bounty hunters search for him. He is also pursued by the Sentinel Marshals for his years of war profiteering.[1]

History[]

Close to fifty years ago, Dharvek began his criminal career in Stormreach. He fled after multiple Storm Lords placed bounties on him.[1]

Rumors & Legends[]

Dharvek is rumored to be of partly drow descent, owing to the dusky tone of his skin.[1]

Dharvek's vault is believed to include experimental weapons stolen from Eston before the Day of Mourning.[1]
