The cover art of Adventurer's Vault 2 by Wayne Reynolds appears to be an homage to the cover art of the AD&D sourcebook Den of Thieves (1996), drawn by Stephen A. Daniele. The art also appeared in the Dungeon Master Guide (2e revised) (1995).

Adventurer's Vault 2 was written by Rob Heinsoo as lead designer, with Eytan Bernstein, Logan Bonner, and Stephen Radney-MacFarland, and additional design by Rob Donoghue.
The cover illustration was by Wayne Reynolds. Interior art was by Kalman Andrasofszky, Jeff Carlisle, Ed Cox, Thomas Denmark, Wayne England, Jason A. Engle, Howard Lyon, Sean “Muttonhead” Murray, Lucio Parrillo, Chris Seaman, Matias Tapia, Eric L. Williams, and Kieran Yanner.

Adventurer's Vault 2 was released by Wizards of the Coast in August 2009 for $29.95 US, or $34.00 Canadian.[1]
On March 3, 2015, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $14.99.
