Arthur Gillman is Ruby and Sam's father, he is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Sam Gillman and Uncle Brill) in the DreamWorks film, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.

Ruby’s dad Arthur Gillman makes soothing instructional videos of glass bottle boat creations. His relaxed personality compliments Agatha’s high-strung one.^[1]

He is described as supportive, kind, and friendly.

Physical Appearance[]

Arthur is a large, overweight Kraken with blue skin and a 'beard', wears an orange beanie, a pair of glasses, a grey sweater with black stripes, black overalls with a golden anchor on it and brown boots. Like the rest of his family, he has ears that look like pectoral fins.

• Fans assumed that his official name was going to be Peter.
• Michael Sheen, Timothy Olyphant, Robert Downey Jr., Ty Burrell, Clark Gregg, Josh Duhamel, Jimmi Simpson, Oliver Hudson, Tom Cruise, Breckin Meyer, Steve Zahn, and Shane West have been shortlisted for the role of Arthur, before veteran stage and screen actor and filmmaker Colman Domingo won the role.
