Welcome!
Hi, welcome to the Dragon Age Wiki! Thanks for joining! I hope that you will stick around and continue to help us improve the wiki. Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- D-day (Talk) 05:55, 16 December 2012
Hello[]
Hello there! I am just letting you know that the Community Project you signed up for is now active! Please check here for more info. Also don't forget to join us in IRC, it's important!
Yours, 20:12, December 20, 2012 (UTC)
Quick note[]
Hi, first off, thanks for all the work you've been doing. I just wanted to let you know that when pages are proposed for splits, merges, deletions etc., it is common practice to wait one week. Even though the talk page consensus was unanimous, the Watchers page still had a day to go. It's also a good idea to leave a note on the talk page when you've closed an open proposal. Thanks! Loleil Talk 06:28, January 8, 2013 (UTC)
- Heh, I'm from Australia too, but I apparently I forgot to count
. Thanks for adding the note!

Chat[]
Hey HD3, why don't you come from the chat a little, it's about A Tale of Orzammar. 15:08, January 28, 2013 (UTC)
Character Images[]
Hey HD3. I noticed that you uploaded some character images a few minutes ago. I wanted to tell you that pictures of much better quality are being taken when you talking with the characters because of the camera focusing on them and not on the background.
A quick example would be:
- File:Arl Leonas Bryland.png
- File:A b2.png
Obviously you'll need to disable the dialogue showing on the top of the screen or instead use this mod to circumvent that. 09:38, February 27, 2013 (UTC)
News[]
Hey HD3, I hope you are doing great!
After I finally managed to have a discussion with Tierrie, I have added the download link of A Tale of Orzammar to the main page. However, I could use your help in petitioning him in adding a hyperlink on the |voice row in character profiles to this page. See you around! 21:33, March 4, 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, HD3! I didn't manage to catch up with you in the chat. Have you thought at all about my idea? :-)

Grand Cleric Elemena[]
After she talked (and the cutscenes ended), I opened up my journal and checked her name. However there is another way. I assign the fight with Loghain to an unrecruited character (console magic) so once the duel starts I am outside the fight and I can roam around the Landsmeet Chamber checking the names of all the participants ;) I hope this answers to your question. 15:42, March 26, 2013 (UTC)
Rogueish Loghain[]
Hey, there. :)
Just here to say that I added the category as I believed young Loghain was indeed a rogue. In The Stolen Throne he wears a light armour and uses a bow. I suposse warriors can do those things as well, but still. :)
I started a talk page on Loghain, but no one answered. :) Henio0 (talk) 09:57, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
I can see why you would be inclined to that notion sure, but since the novels don't follow the same gameplay rules the actual games do i think it makes more sense to list him as the class we can confirm, as well as the one more people would probably know him from.-HD3 (talk) 10:13, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
A matter of outmost importance[]
HD3, please check a topic that I opened up in the Main Page. I'm pretty sure you'd be interested in replying. Thanks! 15:40, April 3, 2013 (UTC)
- I made a new reply to the topic offering an idea/suggestion. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. Cheers!
11:00, April 10, 2013 (UTC)
Hello again! I just went all over your uploaded files in the wiki and added categories or licensing here and there. For future reference (in order to do it on your own next time), provided that you are interested of course, you can check these changes in Special:Contributions/Viktoria Landers. Take care! 09:18, April 12, 2013 (UTC)
Harassment[]
I don't believe that anyone's response to an online discussions should be "lawyer up or go home", but, I can understand that people do over react when offended. However in this case, it reads like he over reacted to your comments. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. -- tierrie talk contr 19:50, May 4, 2013 (UTC)
Removal of game names from location articles[]
Hi there. I have noticed that you rewrote a number of articles about Dragon Age II locations and removed mention of the game from the lead sections. I strongly disagree with these changes and think that they should be discussed first on the forum. Currently most of our leads follow the style "X is a Y in Z" (with the exception of lore articles), and I think that we should keep it. It's essential information that should be available without having to potentially scroll the page and look in the infobox. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 15:15, July 1, 2013 (UTC)
While i certainly would not support universal removal of the applicable game name from the lead-in, i do feel very strongly that holding such a policy as universal is both a questionable practice and in reality, something that has already been ignored to a considerable extent. A vast number of articles, character articles in particular, do not carry this style. I imagine due to issues similar to labeling an NPC such as Meredith as "the chief antagonist" in "dragon age 2" being an unmarked spoiler if nothing else.
While i certainly understand your concerns about wanting essential information easily locatable at the top of the article, given that the info box universally appears at the top of the article (usually immediately next to the lead in which outlines which game is relevant) mentioning the game seems largely redundant. The obvious exception of course being when the article's subject's role has shifted singificantly between installments. E.G Alistair being a companion in DA:O and only appearing as an npc in DA:2, would certainly warrant such a distinction in the lead-in rather than relying on the Appearances section of the info-box.
Perhaps maintaining the current lead-in style while extending the exception to character articles would be an effective solution? Anyway, given the weight of your concern i will not make any further such changes to any location articles until we've reached a consensus. -HD3 (talk) 01:57, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
I moved the discussion to Forum:Game names in the lead sections to attract more opinions and answered you there. I hope you don't mind. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 08:10, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
I actually try to avoid the forums as much as possible.-HD3 (talk) 08:23, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
I don't think you can't change a site-wide policy via user talk page, it is usually done in the "Wiki discussion" subforum. Any consensus we reach will be just for the two of us. But I will oblige.
My reply to the previous message:
It is not really a policy, the closest we have is DA:LEAD that states:
The lead should be capable of standing alone as a concise overview of the article, establishing context, and explaining why the subject is interesting or notable.
Can you explain why mentioning the game is a questionable practice? I don't think that potential spoilers are a problem since "major character" instead of "the chief antagonist" would work just as well.
While the infobox appears next to the lead, the appearances row does not. For example, see Alistair. On my machine there is a distance of 1135 pixels from the top of the monitor to the row. A lot of people won't even see it until they scroll the page. And the infobox is meant to be redundant – it is a summary of the article after all. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 08:46, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
Well you can return the post to the forums if you feel it is going to be a significant contribution to our shared understanding of course.
To the issue at hand:
I feel it is a questionable policy because having to repeat ""X" is a character in "Y"" at the top of every page is both largely self evident and unnecessary. People are intelligent enough that they could work out that an article with a person's name is a character article without us having to explicitly state "X is a character in Dragon Age". So the only essential information contained in such a statement is which installment they appear in. That i agree with you should be clearly marked.
You cite the Alistair page as an example of how someone might be forced to scroll down to see the bottom of the infobox to know which installment they appear in. I'm not sure why expecting someone to scroll down slightly would be such a bad thing. But anyway, that's a moot point because in the overwhelming majority of articles the bottom of the infobox appears in the initial load of the page without having to scroll down at all. E.G Meredith and Elthina. Pages with infoboxes large enough that you must scroll down to see the appearance column are more an exception than a rule. All our affiliated wikias, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed etc, employ a similar policy regarding lead-ins for character articles E.G h http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Saren_Arterius, http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Paul_Bellamy.
-HD3 (talk) 10:36, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
I don't think that we should say "is a character/location in X" every time. It can be "is the Knight-Commander of the Templars of Kirkwall during the events of X." or "is elven mage met during the quest Y in X". It also doesn't have to be in the very first sentence of the lead.
Even when the infobox is fully visible, the appearances are as far from the lead as it can be in the infobox. I believe that this information is so important that it should be among the first things visitor sees.
As far as I know, affiliation with wikis is purely for promotion purposes, it doesn't mean that we encourage their policies. I really like the UESP wiki style with separate namespaces for Lore and each game. Unfortunately, this is not allowed on the Wikia platform. I also like Fallout wiki style where the game is mentioned at the very top of the infobox but not in the lead: Moira, Bob. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 11:31, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
I don't cite the other wikis as a way to try and prove we've fallen out of line with established policy. I only bring them up as an example because they follow a very similar article template without having to go so far as explicitly state the primary game/novel title in the lead-in. Yet they persist just fine and without complaint or confusion.
I agree certainly that the information is important enough to warrant mention near the head of the article and should be among the first thing people see. The problem is it already is among the first thing people see in most cases. They always look at the picture first and in most articles the "Appears in" section is about 3 centimeters/1 inch below that requiring no scrolling at all. It also saves us having to shoe horn a mention of the games title into a lead in which would otherwise be in-world decryption.
I agree the Fallout wiki style's solution would solve all our problems certainly, but that's outside my abilities so I am afraid we'd have to ask someone more knowledgeable about such things.
Since we both seem to agree that this information is important enough that it should be clearly marked at the head of the article, the issue seems to be about to what extent to make it explicit. I would contend that a section of the readily available portion of the article designated for quick and easy reference is probably enough in most cases. Since you seem to feel so strongly about the need for an accompanying phrase, i must concede we should probably open this to a wider discussion.-HD3 (talk) 12:11, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, it appears we reached a stalemate. I restored the forum discussion – Forum:Game names in the lead sections.– mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 12:38, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
Decimus[]
Hi again. I didn't remove the spoiler tag from the background section as it wasn't there to begin with :) This is the page before my edit – http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Decimus?oldid=495456 – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 16:44, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
So you didn't remove the mention of the starkhaven circle's loss or cover it under the spoiler tag...?-HD3 (talk) 16:46, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
I split one spoiler into two and did nothing else. I didn't edit text and I didn't change what text is covered by spoilers. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 17:04, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
MotA maps[]
Hey. I uploaded a map from the game textures on the Dungeons page. The only problem is it's semi-transparent, so it looks ugly with the default gradient background of the wiki. I'll experiment with the styling and upload the rest of the maps later. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 10:04, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
- At the very least we can use them as placeholders until we get better quality images.-HD3 (talk) 10:05, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
- I think the pictures themselves are as high quality as you can get. The problem is with the thumbnails. You can see that if click on a thuhmbnail and view the full image. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 10:21, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
I meant it might be better if we could get in game images of the maps rather than using second hand ones produced by other sites. Partly for legal reasons and partly because they're sometimes cluttered with unexplained markers.-HD3 (talk) 10:23, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
- I think there is some misunderstanding here. The file I uploaded is a texture that I personally extracted from the game files. – mostlyautumn • talk • contribs • 10:29, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Oh i see. You're right i completely misunderstood. If you're doing that, you might want to consider broadening your scope. There is a huge number of location articles, for Dragon age II in particular which lack map images. Even just the semi-transparent image would be a big improvement.-HD3 (talk) 10:32, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
part of civil war[]
I consider Howe's asslaut on Highiver as a part of the Fereldan Civil War and I started this topic on it's talk page. However I need to discuss it with others before I extend the article, so I invite you to discuss, if you're interested.78.8.10.229 (talk) 17:54, July 6, 2013 (UTC)
Deceased[]
There's no way to put in hidden categories on the wiki. Plus, I wouldn't recommend putting "Deceased" as a category. The story line currently takes place within the same time frame, but, as we enter the 3rd game, we're no longer sure who dies or who does not. Additionally, certain characters may die depending on player's choice. So the deceased state is also relative to each player's playthrough. In summary, I'd leave off marking certain characters as Deceased. -- tierrie talk contr 05:55, July 18, 2013 (UTC)
Bodahn and Sandal[]
Here are the stuff, if anything else is needed let me know.
Bodahn's Goods:
Roughwork Bound Staff
Enchanted Staff
Boots
Dalish Belt (+3 health)
Belt (+9 attack)
×4 Health Potion
×2 Lyrium Potion
×3 Stamina Draught
×2 Injury Kit
This store is only the one in Hightown, not the Deep Roads one.
Sandal's Store:
1st version
Mace (+45 health)
Carved Wooden Staff (+17% fire damage)
Superior Helmet (4% physical damage)
Superior Boots (+2 mana/stamina regeneration, +6% fire damage)
Ring (+3% physical damage)
Ornate Rogue's Ring (+23 defense)
×15 Health Potion
×5 Lyrium Potion
×6 Stamina Draught
×3 Injury Kit
2nd version
Gives you nothing else but the potions, draught and kit mentioned above.
Bodahn's Goods (in the Deep Roads):
Dagger
Dagger (a weaker one)
Blade of Calling (appears only on a presumably much higher level, and on first occasion it was a sword with damage bonus, then it's a mere dagger - I don't know where to put it)
Wooden Staff (also appears on a higher level)
Circle Weavers - Minor
Asabas-Saar Eva (helmet on higher level)
Andraste's Grace (+5% healing to this character)
Ring (+2 mana/stamina regeneration)
Twisted Amulet (+21 stamina, on higher level)
Ring of Minor Cantrips (+5% fire damage, on higher level)
×4 Health Potion
×2 Lyrium Potion
×3 Stamina Draught
×2 Injury Kit
Not sure from which point do the "higher level" items appear, I went once as a level 2, then twice as a level 50, which is quite the difference. Nothing changes when you level up on the spot.
Also signing, since I forgot to do that the last time. --Margerard (talk) 04:27, July 22, 2013 (UTC)
Hey![]
Hey HD3! I hope you're doing great!
You recently uploaded three images in your user page which however lack proper licensing. As I wasn't sure which is the appropriate license for them, I added the No license template. However you can remove that and add the appropriate license. A list of licenses can be found here.
I also need your help to verify a claim as I cannot access DA2. In the page, it says that Nuncio Caldera Lanos is a noble. Is that true? 13:10, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
- That's alright. And thanks for your help with Nuncio! Not sure why you put a spoiler template though xD Oh and you can reply in your talk page next time in order to keep the conversation in one place ;-)

re: Equipment Images[]
There we go, brighter and closer! I took some with Sigrun in the splintmail armor too, which is lighter in color, but I think she wound up looking better with her default armor. Kelcat (talk) 03:50, August 13, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah that's much better. You might want to try croping the images a little smaller, ideally you want something about the size of something like Heirsplitter-HD3 (talk) 04:43, August 13, 2013 (UTC)

I'm letting you know of which articles I supplied with new pictures:
Mask of the Imperium
Helm of the Messenger
Dusty Traveler's Hood
Dusty Traveler's Slippers
Dusty Traveler's Armguards
Basic Longbow

I'll see to it later if I can take area pictures in Hightown. -- 16:47, October 3, 2013 (UTC)
De Launcet family[]
I think Elsa provides some information about the De Launcet family. Unfortunately I do not own a copy to check it out myself. Perhaps some extra info can be retrieved when first entering Chateau Haine's courtyard as a character there talks about the two De Launcet sisters. 12:46, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
Eh, i am not even totally convinced the de launcet family really warrant their own page to be honest.-HD3 (talk) 12:51, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
But if you want to spend your time on it,
- Elsa states that they have not seen Emile since he was a child.
- The de Launcet came to the Free Marches over three decades ago.
Mark of the Assassin
- Dulci de Launcet said something Isolde found "horrible"
- Elegant says not to make eye contact with either daughter
- Babbete de Launcet mocks Bann Perrin over the knickers incident in Leiliana's Song
- Fifi mocks Hawke for having to work for a living
- Babbete insults her sister, saying that dressing like a turnip would be a step up for her.
That's about it. There's very little information which is why i question the whole endeavor. -HD3 (talk) 13:13, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
Wasn't Leandra also meant to marry the Comte de Launcet before leaving Kirkwall with Malcolm? I remember Gamlen saying that and Bethany mentions it when Hawke gives her that painting of Leandra. Welshman15 (talk) 14:18, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, that is already covered on one of the character pages.-HD3 (talk) 14:22, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
Golems of Amgarrak[]
Is there anything else you'd think that needs to be further checked in this DLC? I'm considering to make a walkthrough. Also I'm sorry for undoing your edit in Hower's page, I wasn't aware of the talk page discusion. 18:39, November 2, 2013 (UTC)
Back Alley (Dragon Age II)[]
I've done some tweaks at your request about the Golems of Amgarrak pages you recently added. In Dragon Age II, Dougal Gavorn's encounter is made in a Kirkwall's alley named Back Alley, a name shared by an Origins location too. Could you write a page about it? 15:01, November 5, 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, I forgot to ask before you left, if you're still interested in this.
11:49, January 16, 2014 (UTC)
- Well I can write up the page but I don't have DA2 installed so I don't know how much of the information I could add. I could try and work off videos of the quest on DA2 on youtube but that would be it. So for all those reasons I think it might be better if someone with access to a working copy of DA2 should do it. Also i replied to your comment about the Brosca Family on the article's talk page. -

Deepstalker runner[]
I was thinking to write a page about deepstalker runners, but I have no idea where one encounters them. Any ideas? :P 17:51, April 14, 2014 (UTC)
- I had completely forgotten they existed until I looked up the Deepstalkers just now. If they're Deepstalkers though it's probably a safe bet that they're in the Deep Roads. So start from orzammar and just wander the deep roads until you find one. Failing that, you could try when you investigate the deep roads running under Vigil's Keep in awakening. Those I think would be the places most likely to encounter them. Make sure you grab an image and try to figure out what abilities they use. I'd expect it will be the same abilities as the other deepstalkers. Good Luck. -

Lookin' good[]
Loving all the new images you’ve added, they look awesome :D I’m so glad you got to the acquisition of the Awakening codexes (codices? whatever) -- they've been missing for ages and I've been too distracted by shiny new games to start new DA:O playthroughs. --Kelcat (talk) 23:26, April 16, 2014 (UTC)
Thank you Kelcat, I'm glad you think so. The images we needed for DA2 was one thing I really wanted to get sorted out. I'm just sorry I didn't have the information on hand to finish the last couple of Awakening codex entries. I'll have to leave that task in someone else's capable hands alas.- 01:50, April 17, 2014 (UTC)

Uploaded image names[]
Hey! Do you know if there is a way to rename uploaded images? Ones like this could really use an easier and more identifiable name, but I don't see a rename option in the edit dropdown. --Kelcat (talk) 07:14, April 24, 2014 (UTC)
- I'm sure there must be. I'm afraid I don't know it though, you might have to ask KC or someone else though. In the interim just save the image and re-upload it under an intelligible file name I guess and we can delete that one later.-

Quotes[]
Hey there! I think Anders has major enough roles in both Awakening and DA2 that he warrants several quotes for each game, rather than just 4 in DA2. Maybe it would be best to allow 8 quotes for each game where the character is a companion, especially with the upcoming DA:I where Varric will have as major a role as he does in DA2. Otherwise it's kind of hard to weigh which game would qualify for the most quotes if they have equally sizable roles in each. Thoughts? --Kelcat (talk) 00:24, May 17, 2014 (UTC)
If they're full companions in multiple games then sure. I didn't think we were considering any other approach for that scenario. Pursuant to the guidelines about notability etc etc of course. - 03:45, May 17, 2014 (UTC)
- Good deal. I'm going to restore a couple of his DA2 quotes, as I think they're fitting. Other than that, I'm pretty sure all the character pages have been cleaned up. I marked all the edit summaries, in case someone thinks quotes I removed are better than ones I kept. --Kelcat (talk) 05:49, May 20, 2014 (UTC)
Grey Wardens at the prison[]
Hey there. I just read your correction to the Seekers about Legacy. When I played it last it was Act 1 and with the latest patch, and Cassandra says they were actually at the site of the prison, and it was destroyed, and the Grey Wardens who were there didn't mention Larius/Janeka. Do you know if she says something different (like that the Wardens wouldn't let them enter) depending on the Act it's played at, or in the unpatched version?
Thanks. Henio0 (talk) 08:20, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
I was playing in act 3 with the latest patch. I know at the start Cassandra says the seekers tried to survey the area but the grey wardens sent them away. I do remember her saying the wardens didn't mention larius (or janeka if you went with her) but I don't know regarding the rest of it sorry. - 08:25, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
I might play through Legacy again in a different act to see if she says the same thing she did in act 1. Thanks :) Henio0 (talk) 08:27, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
No problem, let me know how it goes. - 08:30, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
In fact, I just searched for a video, and here Cassandra says nothing about the Wardens not being cooperative. Are you sure you got that right? Henio0 (talk) 08:36, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
Absolutely. [1] about 0:32 seconds in. I got the same line about the wardens when i played through as well.- 08:42, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
Ah, you mean the intro, not the outro. I believe she is referring to Chantry as an organisation, not the Seekers, before the events of Legacy. The Chantry wanted to know what the Wardens were hiding, but the Wardens wouldn't tell them. Then Legacy happened, Corypheus was freed and the prison destroyed. THEN the Seekers arrived there, and Wardens cooperated with them then. Henio0 (talk) 08:50, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
Possibly, "turned away by the Grey Wardens" sounds (at least to me) a lot like its tied to a geographical locale. You get "turned away" from the club because you don't meet the dress code. It just seems like an odd way to phrase it if we're just referring to the chantry sending inquiring letters though. Plus earlier Cassandra refers to herself as a "Seeker of the Chantry" rather than one of the Seekers of Truth (likely referncing the Templars and Seekers rebelling against chantry authority to indicate her position). Which would suggest she sees her detachment as still part of the chantry hierarchy. I guess it depends on what time they arrived at the prison site (which I don't think cassandra ever gives an exact year for does she?) Plus if the chantry was going to send someone to investigate the site, the Seekers of Truth seem like the most likely choice (presuming the incident she refers was a literal visit to the prison and it occured prior to the Seekers and Templars abandoning chantry authority)
- 09:00, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
We'll just have to disagree then, because I still think the Chantry investigated before the Legacy happened. :) Anyway, it's not that important and I was just curious. :) Thanks for induluging me. Henio0 (talk) 19:58, May 30, 2014 (UTC)
No sweat, have a good one.- 04:27, May 31, 2014 (UTC)
Re:Recent Edits[]
Heya HD3, sorry I only just noticed your message on my talkpage. I can assure you that you've done nothing at all to offend me, the fact that we've been on opposing sides in various editing conflicts is entirely coincidental. It's in large part down to the fact that I do have a habit of embroiling myself in many of the editing conflicts that occur, nearly always picking a side. Stubbornness, or a sign that I care too much I guess!
Anyway, I can promise you that there's nothing personal, I too regard you with great respect as an editor, and apologise if anything I said came across as personal, it almost certainly was not intended. Alexsau1991 (talk page) 19:26, June 25, 2014 (UTC)
Re:Wikia issue[]
Hi HD3, this is a good point. I'd suggest two methods of dealing with this problem: A) Removing (Formerly) entirely, or B) Adding dates relevent to the title. So, for Zevran, we could put Antivan Crow (Prior to 9:30 Dragon)
Option B would obviously be consistent with how we handle titles on other pages (such as Justinia V) and so I think that would be my personal preference. However, if we're dealing with Zevran specifically, it might be best to remove (Formerly) altogether since (as you point out) it's unclear if he ever did actually leave the Crows.
In short, I'd suggest that users should use their own judgement in cases such as this, though as always, feel free to start a forum with your own proposal if it's something you feel strongly about

Best Served Cold Dialogue Options[]
Well, I couldn't get fraps to work on my laptop. Grr. However, I took screenshots, so I can present them to you in a slideshow format. I'll summarize what I've found out so far:
1) If you side with Meredith at the rally, you still have the option to show the mages mercy at the end of Best Served Cold. Cullen will still agree to show the mages mercy. When you return to the Gallows, you can ask Cullen what will happen to the conspirators, and the answer does not differ from what he says when you side with Orsino at the rally. You still have the option to "name names" even if you made pro-mage options during the bulk of the quest. You can also tell Meredith she's mad or that she must "let it go."
2) If you side with Orsino at the rally and continue to blame the templars and side with the mages during On the Loose and Best Served Cold, you cannot communicate with Meredith at the end of Best Served Cold. Thus, there is no option to "name names." Orsino doesn't ask who was behind the plot. The only accusation you can make is to call Meredith crazy or say it's not her fault. However, you still have the option to attack Keran or turn him in during the warehouse portion of the quest, and you can still tell Cullen that no mage should be spared when he arrives at the Wounded Coast. I haven't made these choices yet, however, as I was being as pro-mage as possible to see if Keran, Samson, etc. can still be turned in. They can't.
When I have more time this week, I'll see what happens when you side with Orsino at the rally but then make nothing but pro-templar choices during the main quests in Act 3. I will also see what happens when all the neutral options are made. --Death by Cheese (talk) 05:07, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- Sweet, thank you so much Cheese. Does Cullen still tell you that mages were sedated/locked up & Templars were suspended without pay if you side with meredith at the rally? Also provided you take all the pro-mage options and spare Alain and everyone possible, who gets mentioned if you choose the name names option & how does that differ from the tell meredith she's paranoid option?
Screenshot slideshow would work fine too if Fraps is being stupid. Try to grab one of every sentence for the varying options if possible though. Although we just really need to get the gist of it for every option except siding with meredith and then going totally pro-mage which is almost completely lacking in details of any sort, especially with regards to Cullen's reaction to sparing them & Meredith's differing options if you go pro-mage after siding with her.
- 05:35, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- How would you like me to send you the screenshots? I have the Side with Meredith/pro-mage Best Served Cold options ready to go. I can grab the other screenshots later. --Death by Cheese (talk) 07:15, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- Oops, Ignore the above question. I just created an album on G+. https://plus.google.com/photos/100400528498159057621/albums/6061790144723970081?authkey=CLaZqpun3Zr2ZQ --Death by Cheese (talk) 07:26, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- I see you spotted the bug where Carver defaults to Templar armour even if he is a grey warden. That happened to me once when I quit during the fight and re loaded just before it. Look great, I am curious though, do you have screenshots for what happens if you take all the pro game options after siding with meredith but then refuse to name names? Both or either alternate options
- 07:43, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- I don't have those options, but I can get them for you sometime tomorrow. Or later today, I mean. (It's about 1AM here.) I have a pretty good set of saves now. I didn't before (I had to burn through several quests to get there), but I do now! --Death by Cheese (talk) 07:48, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- Tremendous! That'll round out the pro-mage options entirely I think. Great work so far cheese, thanks a tonne.
- 07:49, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- No problemo! --Death by Cheese (talk) 07:53, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
Well, I can't get to sleep, so I went ahead and did quick screenshots of the other outcomes. https://plus.google.com/photos/100400528498159057621/albums/6061816059835195985?authkey=COPmzqvHkJuQlwE
Of note: If Hawke tells Meredith she's mad, Hawke will NOT receive the Hearth shield. Hawke receives the shield only from selecting the other two options (Naming names, or "let it go.") I tested each outcome three times to make sure. Also, telling Meredith she's mad does not allow Hawke to talk to Orsino. He will continue to coldly tell Hawke there's no need to be in his office.
One more thing: I noticed on this wiki that there's a note at the end of Best Served Cold that if you side with Meredith there is an option to investigate and learn some interesting things about her. This did not happen for me. If the "interesting things" are referring to learning about her sister, that happens during On The Loose, not Best Served Cold. Unless there are other conditions to trigger this particular investigation option that I'm not aware of. --Death by Cheese (talk) 09:18, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
- Wasn't sure if you saw the above yet, and I was wondering if there were any other dialogues you wanted me to test. --Death by Cheese (talk) 21:24, September 23, 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Cheese, that's pretty much everything except any option to turn Keran over to the templars if there is any unique dialogue for that path.
- 00:52, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, no problem. I can test all options for Keran. --Death by Cheese (talk) 01:22, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
I'll organize my screenshots soon, but I thought I'd outline what I found about Keran (and some other characters you turn in):
- No conditions spare Keran from being included when Hawke "names names," even if Hawke says "I agree" at the warehouse or tells Keran to "get out of here," and even if Hawke sides with the mages in all instances at The Wounded Coast. Poor Keran! However, even if his name is turned in to Meredith, he can be found in front of The Hanged Man during the day after the quest. The only way to permanently lose Keran is to straight up kill him at the docks.
- If Hawke tells Cullen Alain was "one of Grace's," when Hawke names names, Alain will be included. He will not be in the Gallows after the quest.
- If you tell Cullen to go easy on Alain, he will not be among the names handed into Meredith. The next dialogue options, "kill them all," "give Samson another chance," and "be merciful" do not affect Alain's fate. Even if Hawke says "kill them all," if Hawke previously told Cullen not to hurt Alain, Alain will be alive in the Gallows after the quest, and he will not be turned in to Meredith.
- If Hawke tells Cullen to give Samson another chance, Samson will not be among the names given to Meredith. This is the only way to spare Samson if Hawke "names names."
- Thrask, Keran and Grace are always included among Hawke's list of conspirators. If you name names:
- The dialogue options you must make to be the most ruthless are: Kill Keran>Tell Cullen Alain is one of Grace's>"Kill them All." You will turn in all names to Meredith, and Keran (obviously), Alain and Samson no longer appear at the Gallows or Lowtown at night.
- The dialogue options you must make to be the most merciful (to known characters, anyway) are: Agree with Keran or tell him to run away (he'll still be turned in but still appears in front of The Hanged Man)>Tell Cullen not to hurt Alain>Tell Cullen to give Samson another chance.
- However, when you tell Cullen to give Samson another chance, when Hawke speaks to Cullen again in the Gallows, his answer to the question about the conspirators is the same as when you tell him to "kill them all."
- During dialogue when you first encounter Samson on the Wounded Coast, neither defending the mages nor defying the mages matters in any of the quest's ultimate outcomes. There are probably friendship/rivalry gains, but my companions are maxed out except for Sebastian, and I didn't have him in my party at this point.
--Death by Cheese (talk) 07:03, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
I finally organized the screenshots, and decided it would be easier to just summarize the choices my Hawke made before she "names names." I forgot to add that I tested all of these outcomes with a diplomatic mage Hawke, so I don't know if a sarcastic or aggressive Hawke, or a non-mage Hawke have unique options. And as I said above, nothing my Hawke did spared Keran from the names given to Meredith. Anyway, here are the screenshots: https://plus.google.com/photos/100400528498159057621/albums/6062923397977822161?authkey=CI2S3eSo6JW0tgE --Death by Cheese (talk) 08:46, September 25, 2014 (UTC)

I just confirmed that once Hawke finishes talking to Tobrius, Hawke receives the item "Father's Letters" which go directly to that magical part of the inventory where all plot items go. So yeah, the new page should probably just be formatted like any other plot item page. I'll go ahead and clean the article up a bit. --Death by Cheese (talk) 04:13, September 28, 2014 (UTC)
Forum Help[]
Hi, HD3. In the tarot card forum, someone (probably accidentally) erased two previous entries, and I'm not wiki knowledgeable enough to know how to undo the erased content (it contains several outside links) while keeping the new edit intact. Do you know how this can be fixed? Sorry to ask, but you seem to know your way around the wiki really well. --Death by Cheese (talk) 09:59, September 28, 2014 (UTC)
- The easiest way I can think of would be to just undo the edits to before problematic edit but beforehand copy all the new posts after that and then paste them back into the the forum. Not clever or flashy but should do the trick.

Still Looking...[]
I'm still searching for a better Tevinter symbol. I'm jumping off the computer in a few, though. I haven't found anything yet, but I did find a bigger image for the Nevarran heraldry, which I uploaded, if anyone wants to use it on Nevarran pages. It was on the Inquisition site, which has a few other interesting images. I also uploaded the two best images I got (in my opinion) of Fenris holding the glowing Blade of Mercy. I'm not really sure they're better than d-day's pic, but feel free to use them if you want. Tinypic saved them as jpgs, but I have the pngs on my computer if you'd rather have them in that format.

HD3 mindlessly removing meterial[]
You have no good reason to revert an added trivia, please refrain from mindlessly trying to control everything on this wikia that does not meet your own bias, Thank you. MaxiRage (talk) 14:51, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what manner of narrative you've built up about myself or what "bias" which you think is motivating me to undo your edit other than the fact it isn't necessary. If you'd read the edit summary next to the undo you would have noticed the whole "per trivia guidelines" remark which would have furnished you with an explanation. I refer you to the http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Age_Wiki:Trivia_guidelines, trivia guidelines which explain what is and isn't considered trivia.
- Now if you'd bothered to ask me why I was undoing your edit rather than being insulting, I might have suggested you include the dialogue you keep adding as a quotation per the quote guidelines and add a trivia note underneath it suggesting that this quote had special significance because despite joining the Dalish several years prior to his death, Pol's city elf upbringing leads him to reflexively reference andraste as a quasi expletive, rather than the elven pantheon he now follows. I would also have pointed out the factual errors in your edit, (this is not the first time Hawke encounters Pol) and that you could have included the relevant links to provide more opportunities for any potential readers to explore the world of dragon age further.
- Also my view of Dragon Age's lore is not "narrow", indeed in contrast to the more fanatical and argumentative members of this community, I generally try to refrain from enforcing an opinion and be as objective as possible by editing as independently as possible from what I personally may consider the "correct" choice in any situation or dispute. Of course it helps that, though admittedly I do so say so myself, I am fairly well versed on the lore of Thedas in general.
P.S I hope this experience has not put you off contributing to the wiki. We need enthusiastic editors, we just want to make sure they maintain an appropriate standard of concision, fact sourcing and accuracy. The wikia is a collaborative project as is every article it hosts. It helps if we don't assume malice when editors find themselves in a disagreement with each other.
- 15:12, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
I understand, however, if its not "perfect" per se, You could easily edit it to fall into the guidelines instead of been rude by hitting "undo", the easy way, since you seem to believe you know more about the guidelines then the rest of us. Also, please don't spam the same long message in 3 places. MaxiRage (talk) 15:23, October 8, 2014 (UTC)
- I am uncertain why you believe I am purporting to know more about the guidelines than "us" just because I pointed out to you that one of your edits did not actually count as trivia. As I stated earlier, had you read the included reason or spoken to me directly I would have explained the issue in greater detail and how you could work around it if you chose. Also calling other editors "mindless" is at the very least, not conducive to creating a collaborative editing environment which is something all editors should try to maintain.

Your user page[]
Hi,
I know my tiff with the IP who is supposedly responsible for hacking your page might have portrayed me in a bad light so I won't bother you for long, but I did notice a very curious thing that I could not get me head around.
The same IP appears to have edited your user page in the past. Even the last edit that was reverted by DeathByCheese, is logged as having reverted your page to a version created by that IP. What do you make of it? Diain (talk) 05:10, October 10, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, man that was ages ago. That was my list of equipment articles that required pictures. Whoever that anon was, they noticed all those articles now had images but the list hadn't been removed, so they took it down themselves. Trying to be helpful I guess. Its rather rude to edit a user's profile page but I didn't even notice until like a month later. I don't really use my profile page to keep notes generally so I don't pay it a lot of attention. Then when someone hacked my account yesterday, Cheese used rollback instead of the standard edit and rollback defaults to the last user to edit the profile page before the user account you are using rollback on. Since no one ever edits a user's profile page except the user themselves, it jumped to that anon's IP. So it was actually Cheese who edited the page.
As for how you've been portrayed, I see Kelcat has already dealt with that so it is rather a moot point now.

- No problem, you have a good day now.

Quote[]
Hey, HD3! You've read Asunder haven't you? I was looking at Rhys' article, and his header quote seems kind of generic to me: “Very well. I confess: I’m a mage.”
Any ideas for something a little more interesting? --♫ Kelcat Talk 06:47, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
I actually kind of like that quote but you'd have to read the text to get the context. I shall go look for a few alternatives from the book and get back to you.
P.S You haven't read Asunder? You totally should before DA:I comes out. Lot of great moments in that thing. What about Masked Empire & Last Flight?
- 07:50, October 16, 2014 (UTC)
- I wondered if it might be a "you had to be there" kind of quote. Perhaps it could be added as dialogue, with a different header quote.
- The only novel I've read so far is The Stolen Throne. The other ones are pretty cheap on kindle right now, so I should pick up one or two. --♫ Kelcat Talk 02:36, October 17, 2014 (UTC)
- You really should, at least read Asunder & Masked Empire because they seem to tie into DA:I to a much greater extent. Plus the calling has more Duncan! & Maric! and last flight is spiffy because you get to actually see the fourth blight happen and how much worse things could have gotten in ferelden. Plus they're just good reads in of themselves.
- You're right about Rhys' quote though, its a good quote for that scene but we should find something less context dependent. I'll take care of that today.
- 02:41, October 17, 2014 (UTC)
- How about "We know nothing of Tranquility, or of demons, or even our own limitations."
- Or if we can turn a blind eye to a slightly longer quote than usual ""We know nothing of Tranquility, or of demons, or even our own limitations. Whatever comes next, we will only survive if we learn to look upon it with new eyes." -p.407
I like that one. It captures both Rhys, Asunder and the general sense of upheaval everyone faces at the end of Masked Empire & Asunder.
- 09:33, October 19, 2014 (UTC)
- Glad I could help. Also you totally should read the books.
- 03:09, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
One more thing on Rhys' page, if you're able--reference 1 is for Last Flight but it uses a location number rather than a page number (I'm presuming the location comes from the e-book version). It's about Rhys' physical description. Any way you could scrounge up a page number so it matches other book citations? --♫ Kelcat Talk 07:22, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, no problem at all. I'll take care of it.
- 07:34, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, have amended reference.

Categorizing categories[]
In wikis, all categories are categorized by at least one parent category, except of course the root category. So please don't forget to categorize them. If you're uncertain which categories are appropriate, your best shot is to check similar categories. So for example in the case of Category:Dragon Age: Last Flight locations, checking the respective Stolen Throne category is a good idea. 18:36, October 19, 2014 (UTC)
- Ok good to know, I'll incorporate those properly in future.

Last Straw Edit Warring[]
Please refrain from pointlessly starting an edit war.

As I explained in both the edit summary on my initial reversion and on your own talk page, speculation, however likely, is no help to anyone. I know Kelcat has spoken to you about this already.

It seems i was right about one thing.
Cesspool?[]
Just saw what you said on KC's talk page, but didn't want to butt in with such a silly thing there - I just felt kind of "mentioned" as one of the many users adding news. All the news are from BioWare (not just pulled out of cesspool), they're just advertising this much. And now I just realize that I must seem offended or something, but I just meant to say it because to my knowledge you haven't had too much time to read into the news and thus you may really not know... hope you won't take it in a bad way.
By the way I kept hoping for that we could meet on the chat again, but funnily I had a better chance meeting you in Europe than in the states, but to respond to what you said in there, I knew you would be one of the first choices of the admins when it would come to nomination, so it was no question to me that I'd vote with a yes. And looking at the overwhelming support on your page, I think it's not premature to congratulate you on your new role. :) -- 16:57, October 25, 2014 (UTC)
- Har har, well first Marge, let me say thank you. If I ever get the chance to visit Europe (which remains in the top of my life's ambitions) we must catch up. Regarding my comments on KC's talk page, I think you may have misconstrued what I intended. Admittedly it is late here and I am tired so I probably phrased it rather poorly.
When I said "cesspool" I meant the mass of the internet in general and people potentially posting unrelated third party content in the news section. Not actually anything posted by anyone so far.
I actually have no problem with the amount of information Bioware have been posting, its' in all our best interests for them to drum up as much enthusiasm and interest for DA:I as possible and the fans certainly want more news. I only meant that in recent times we've gone from having a designated user or two handling all the news posts to a broader number of users posting news which has been harder to keep track of.

You are now officially an administrator! Most of the extra buttons are pretty self explanatory, but if you need any extra advice please feel free to drop me a line. Congratulations.

- Thank You Loleil! My first question is, where do I find all the new buttons?
- 16:54, October 26, 2014 (UTC)
- Heh, well there's really only two new buttons. Block pops up next to the user name on recent changes or the page history, delete on the the drop down menu for articles and images and that's pretty much it!

Party Select Screen[]
Hey, HD3. I finally got the Act 1 party select screen the way I want it (I'm kind of picky about details like weapons and such), but I wasn't sure about uploading it directly here because you had said you were going to cut & paste screens together to have one picture of all party members (minus Tallis). Here's the like to the screenshot. Feel free to do whatever you want to with the image: [2] Next I'll be working on the Act 2 screen to get Sebastian in the picture, then I'll do a rogue/warrior Hawke screen to get Bethany. --Death by Cheese (talk) 06:22, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Looks perfect cheese! Once we get a shot of Sebastian for act 2 and act 1 bethany we'll cut them all together as one image. It'll look great.
- 06:24, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
- It sounds like a neat project! Are you going to make the party members clickable like some of the maps on the wiki? Oh, and before I forget, congrats on the admin promotion! You deserve it. --Death by Cheese (talk) 06:41, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you Cheese ^^ I never would've gotten this far without your help. The clickable party members does sound like a neat idea. I don't know how to set that up though.
- 06:48, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh hey speaking of weapons, do you think you could get Sebastian with the Starkhaven Longbow?
- 06:58, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
I'm finally back with image #2 of the Act 1 party with Bethany. Sorry it's taking so long! [3] And when I get the Act 2 screen, I'll be sure to have Sebastian holding the Starkhaven Longbow. --Death by Cheese (talk) 21:17, October 29, 2014 (UTC)
- Ah great work cheese! I've cut in Bethany. It actually looks pretty good! Except because of where Hawke stands in the screen you cant see half of her stave so Bethany is holding a kind of ad hoc mace. I don't see any way around that though and it still looks pretty good so I'm not worried. Once I add sebastian it'll look perfect, I'll link you to the finished version once I upload it.
- 00:17, October 30, 2014 (UTC)
- Ohhh, I'm so dumb! I also was concerned about the way Bethany is buried behind the other characters, and the way she's holding her staff isnn't doing her any favors for cutting and pasting... but I bet I can make Hawke invisible! That thought didn't even occur to me until just now. D'oh. Let me fire up DA2 and try again. --Death by Cheese (talk) 01:41, October 30, 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, crumbs. Scratch that. I can make Hawke invisible using the appearance codes, but he doesn't stay invisible on the select screen. Grr. --Death by Cheese (talk) 02:11, October 30, 2014 (UTC)
- Don't stress it, it still looks pretty good. It just looks like she's holding a mace instead of a staff so it still look fine.

My dear friend, I have a query that needs answering. I know not if you are online right now, but when you are would you be so kind as to delete this comment? It is from a very obnoxious anon, who I believe is, as the youngins say, trolling. Thank you for your time, Seeker. B.S.S.T. (talk) 19:05, November 4, 2014 (UTC)
He's also commenting here and arguing with himself... I don't think he knows we can see his IP and know it's the same guy. You can delete my comment too if you want. Blog posts[]
Hey there! Just letting you know that I've removed the news category from your recent blog post. Although they look quite informative and well made, as King Cousland pointed out, we generally "restrict news posts and articles to material BioWare themselves releases or endorses". Loleil Talk 19:30, November 5, 2014 (UTC)
Inconsistent Reversion Policy?[]
I think that
http://dragonage.wikia.com/index.php?title=Codex_entry%3A_Velvet_Cailan&diff=626593&oldid=626591
deserves two comments:
1) I will point out that the trivia about furry art is no different from the trivia right above it about Velvet Elvis. If the relationship of the quote to furry art is somehow not trivia, than the Velvet Elvis one isn't either. Yet, you remove one and leave the other, a puzzling behavior which requires an explanation.
2) Wikia provides the ability to explain or annotate a change, which you did not do here. Being on the receiving end of such a reversion seems very rude and abrupt to this person and not very welcoming. The least you could have done is addressed 1) in your change comment.
DaBarkspawn (talk) 04:19, November 10, 2014 (UTC)
First I would like to refer you to our [[4]] which explain the comments regarding speculation in the trivia section.
1) You are quite correct of course. Though velvet elvis on the other hand is a well documented culturally notable piece of kitsch art rather than the furry art which is more of a personal arousal nature and thus engenders a whole different set of additional considerations when discussing its inclusion.
2)You are correct of course, what I am doing right now in fact is attempting to locate a source which can confirm or deny the relationship between the 'Velvet Elvis' and the Thedosian 'Velvet Cailan', during the edit of which I intended to include in the summary the rationale for that particular's edits removal. However I'm afraid you were too quick for me and beat me to it.
- 04:26, November 10, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for listening.
I did read through the trivia guidelines before commenting here, but could not find a way through those guidelines that allowed the Elvis reference and not the furry one, hence my feeling that they guidelines were being applied inconsistently.
On your reply to 1), are you somehow asserting that all furry art is erotic ("personal arousal")? Because that is certainly not the case. I should also point out that Furry Fandom is what I would consider a notable subculture and I'm not a furry myself. I do encourage you to read through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furry_fandom as Furry Fandom has ancient links to the computer RPG community through MUCKs and per that article has many thousand person conventions across North America and Europe. That seems at least as notable as a brief, lamentable ;) art style from the 60s.
As for my being too quick, err, thanks I guess. Such is the internet. :D

Re:News Post/Locking Necro Thread[]
Hi there, while I can certainly see your point about news posts, I think this may have more to do with the timeframe we're currently in - news can be expected to increase with Inquisition's impending release. I'm not sure I entirely agree that more users posting news makes it harder to track - true, there have been a couple of posts which didn't really merit the news category, these have been swiftly removed.
Where I do agree with you is that some posts can occasionally appear to be a little unprofessional (URLs not properly linked, typos etc.). In these cases, I think it'd be alright for admins to make the necessary changes to the post in order to tidy it up a little, so long as the original author is alerted to the changes. On the whole though, my personal preference would be to keep the news category open to all users as I don't see it as a major problem right now, but feel free to consult with the other admins or open this up for discussion by the community!
As for locking older threads, I think if they're necroed then there's good cause for locking them, yes. King Cousland | Talk 15:42, November 10, 2014 (UTC)
- While I certainly can see your point, I just hope we're not underestimating the problem. While its fine in general, there have been several incidents of not just tagging news posts that should not have been tagged (something i myself accidentally committed even) its less news posts' needing clean up that bothers me so much as people including other unrelated stuff as part of the body of the news post. Intended or not, that makes it look like it is the wiki's position on the matter, rather than just a private user's blogpost or comment reply. Its the thought of someone getting that mistaken impression that bothers me and why I think we should discuss this further.

Recent Video Deletions[]
Hey HD3,
Just wanted to give you a heads-up that those videos I've been putting on the wiki are part of an upcoming Instant Expert portal page. Looks like despite the fact it hasn't gone live yet, the videos are still showing up in the recently uploaded area, so I understand why they're getting deleted. The article should be live later today though, so hopefully they can stick around after that, as they're embedded in the right rail of the page. Lemme know if you've got any questions or concerns!
Cheers

Possible news block[]
Hey, I couldn't help but see that you messaged KC regarding the news section and that you would consider blocking it for the majority. Since I'm one of those people who share news blogs occasionally, I felt the need to speak up again (as I do remember we talked about the news section a bit not too long ago), I hope it'll be something to consider.
There are a handful of people who make decent news posts, and it's certainly a lot easier to share the responsibilities of updating news than waiting for one of the admins adding it - which could potentially end up with the wiki adding belated news (and that has happened before). I personally think it would be better if those certain individuals treating their opinions as news worthy facts would be asked and eventually warned if necessary to avoid doing so. If I want to be perfectly honest, I've seen only one person adding any kind of personal opinion to the news blog posts, and two other tagging their blog as news when they weren't. I think it would be unfair to take the option away from those who actually want to contribute to the news section appropriately because of these couple of people recently. I'd like that to be considered should this come to a further discussion about it, as I like being able to contribute to the news section, and I don't believe I (or some actually regular news editors) have done anything to take that freedom away. -- 02:12, November 11, 2014 (UTC)
- Side note, sorry about editing your user page instead of talk page, must've spaced out there o.O --
02:14, November 11, 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry Marge I should've made it clearer. The admin only thing was more of just one proposed model I was spitballing around. The other one I was going to put forward was a bit more inclusive, open to a significantly wider array of users to ensure the wiki doesn't fall behind in news. I also want to make it clear that this was not intended as a reflection of you or indeed any of the users who has been posting to the news section, so much as insurance against potential further instances. But it probably won't even go forward, it was just a hypothetical.
- 02:20, November 11, 2014 (UTC)
- I understand, and I did not take offense to it in case I came across as if I did, sorry about that. Just something to consider if anyone would entertain the first idea. The second idea, I'm not sure how would that work - like giving certain people a special right to edit the news section? If so, not sure if that would really work. But yeah, I personally don't think that for those few people it would be worth doing anything about the news section. But I know, this was really just hypothetical and nothing personal, so I don't really worry about it, more like a point raised in said hypothetical scenario. --

Graphics Bug[]
I have found a few instances of DAII's graphics engine messing up, causing the characters to stand on top of each other. This is definitely a bug, but I'm not sure which page to put it on. Since it mostly occurs at the entrance to The Hanged Man, that was my first guess. There doesn't seem to be a page for general bugs, just quest specific ones. DaBarkspawn (talk) 19:38, November 15, 2014 (UTC)
Make sure your copy of DA2 has the latest patch, that'll solve some problems. Otherwise unless its a major issue, I wouldn't worry about it.

- I'm on the latest patch. As for major, I think so:

- Roger, thanks. I'll try to get to it sometime today. OTOH, there's this game that just released that may distract me. ;) DaBarkspawn (talk) 14:58, November 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Um, if I'm going to put in a bug note, it is helpful to have the images to point to. Is there a particular reason you deleted the last two? Again, as with the Black Emporium Trivia, I get a strong sense of arbitrary deletion going on here. DaBarkspawn (talk) 15:17, November 18, 2014 (UTC)
- Outside of VERY exceptional circumstances, we generally don't include images with bug notes because they tend to make the article look extremely messy. Just a text note with template is fine. I left the one image in case we needed to refer to it later as proof that this bug occurs.
- 22:11, November 18, 2014 (UTC)

Vandalism on DA:I page[]
Hello HD3, I've noticed a persistent vandal on the Dragon Age: Inquisition page. One user also, added a paragraph about the game not featuring a developer console and cheats. - Oh yeah that was an old user, who uploaded a lot of last court images under confusing or inaccurate names. A good rule of thumb is to to check the
http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Dragon_Age:_The_Last_Court_images and ensure you tag any images you upload with that category tag. If the image you're trying to upload doesn't appear in that category tag, we probably don't have that image, so just rename it to something similar and upload it, then tag it.

TLC quest icons and smth else[]
Hey there! I am feeling a bit uncomfortable with using DAO quest icons for TLC quests. Perhaps we could find another TLC-related icon to use instead? Furthermore, I am thinking to move the DA2 concept arts of the three races (human, elf, dwarf) to a central position on the article (instead of being right). What do you think? 09:52, December 6, 2014 (UTC)
Regarding the concept art, I don't really mind. I think its fine where it is but I am also fine with it being moved to center.
As for The Last Court quest Icons, I envisioned that as more of a place holder icon. Although since there is no real equivalent in The Last Court, I think its perfectly acceptable to keep using it. If you want to replace it, I think we should use the a mini icon version of the back of the cards (with the orlesian mask) for the quests, except for quests from the Divine's feast deck, which I we can use
![Chantry heraldry DA2](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/4/46/Chantry_heraldry_DA2.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/100?cb=20120925194121)
this version of the chantry sunburst for, since thats what is on the back of the Divine Feast Cards. Thoughts?

We're nearing completion and we need you. Some hints:
- Exact number of enemies in each location, exact difficulty of traps, chests and locks too.
- Addition of images (screenshots) wherever needed.
- As a general rule a completed page has all the info it needs & the info is presented the way it should be.
Pages:
- The Deep Roads Expedition
- Last of His Line
- Fool's Gold (see also DA2 Official Guide, page 78)
- Finding Nathaniel + create a page about the location of Nathaniel
- Varric's personal quests (including the Mark of the Assassin one)
- Deep Roads (Dragon Age II)
- A page about "Back Alley (Dragon Age II)" which is Dougal Gavorn's encounter, if his offer is accepted and Hawke after the expedition refuses to pay his extortion. (Furthermore, perhaps we should add also that info in "The Deep Roads Expedition" page? Dunno were it belongs)
Palace concept art[]
Yes. Because in the artbook thi image was in Val Roueaux section.

- What an age we live in where a game is TOO MUCH value for money and has too much content. You'll excuse me if I sit here and seethe in jealousy since I can't even start my playthrough yet. Glad to hear you're having fun yet. Remember to not just mill around in the Hinterlands and go out and explore the world.

Maric's Blade[]
Do you have the exact page number in The Calling where it states that Maric offered to return the blade to the dwarves? It will save much time searching the whole book for it :-P 11:42, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
- No sorry. I know its after they enter the Deep roads. They discuss it when Maric first draws the sword when the Grey Wardens are around I think.

Hi HD3,
I was hoping to ask a favor from you in regards to the Community Choice Awards that we will be doing for Dragon Age Inquisition. We are looking for 6 categories for community members to vote on. Since I have yet to play the game, I was hoping you would be able to suggest some categories that would be appropriate/relevant.
For an example/clarification, click here.
Thanks for any advice and help,

Hey, you got that steelbook collectors edition of Inquisition, right? If so, once you're up and playing, can you verify what the heck this is supposed to be: Inqusitor's Edition Multiplayer Items In Game Content? Chat moderators[]
HD3, I noticed that you changed user rights for NutMeg29. It is good that you are taking a proactive approach to the problem but keep in mind that changing user rights is something that is discussed with the rest of the team. In the future, please loop in the rest of the team (afterwards) if you encounter a situation where you need to temporarily deputize someone. Remember, we spend varying amount of time and we may not know why something was done. By providing that information, another administrator will be able to help back you up and also understand the reasoning behind setting a precedence. -- tierrie talk contr 22:15, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
- I thought I did message you regarding precisely that on chat, several times if memory serves. And also I asked Marge to pass that information along also.

- Chat is an unreliable medium for keeping track of these things. It is not persistant and private messages are not an open medium. Could you please reiterate the circumstances and your rationale? Without understanding the context, it seems to an onlooker that you have just recently been made an administrator and you are already making unilateral changes to user privileges. I want to avoid any misunderstanding if possible. -- tierrie talk contr 21:44, December 16, 2014 (UTC)

Not vandalism, but …[]
Hi. Just stumbled over some recent changes by a wikia user. I am not sure if that all should be reverted, but I tend to. At least the style isn't correct, but I like to have some other pair of eyes to evaluate the given information, so to decide whether it should be undone or "simply" changed. -- CompleCCity (talk) 14:38, December 25, 2014 (UTC)

I have unknowingly created a page that already existed (that being The Hissing Wastes and I posted Hissing Wastes). Suggested Undo[]
The following changeset http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Anders?s=wldiff&diff=0&oldid=656103 consists only of someone changing " Anders' " to " Anders's " which is not grammatically correct in English. I suggest an admin undo it. I'd do it but I don't want to start an undo war. DaBarkspawn (talk) 15:55, January 26, 2015 (UTC)

DA:I Sellable Valuables[]
Good evening,
A Dragon Age: Inquisition category for "Valuables which can be sold without ill effect" would be very useful and cut through a lot of the confusion generated by other websites. I would be happy to add the category where required, however I feel it should be greenlit first (especially because I don't know how to word or format it!).
Thank you for your consideration, and nice to meet you! --ALC Shmoo92 (talk) 02:16, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
- Actually that's not a bad idea. I would imagine there are too many items for a category for "Valuables which can be sold without ill effect" but a category for valuables that should not be sold for such reasons would be much more manageable and have the same effect. Regardless, the best way to go about it would be to start a forum thread under the wiki section proposing it, and maybe post a message linking to the topic on the talk pages of admins and regular contributors. Great idea though in principle, look forward to reading the topic thread.
- 12:49, January 29, 2015 (UTC)
- I'll go put that in the ego jar, thank you! I've posted it here Forum:DA:I Category: Valuables which should not be sold (I don't know how you feel about naming names); now, to the admin page!

Abusive chatmod and wrongful ban from the chat[]
Hello. I'm new on this wiki and decided to join the chat and talk to the users here, not knowing what to expect. My expectations were not too high, but I certainly didn't expect this kind of treatment.
Firstly, I would like to point out that these are screenshots from the Main Chat, posted just moments after being banned for no reason by the chatmod Margerard (who I think is one of the worst mods I've seen on wikia). Like I said, I got into chat and the first comment I made was immediately met with hostility by two users, Jaeha and EzzyD.
![Rude1](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/9/9f/Rude1.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/500?cb=20150207213507)
![Rude2](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/c/c9/Rude2.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/500?cb=20150207213536)
After this initial wave of hostility and outright rudeness by these two, the mod Margerard chose to intervene and went on to support the rudeness by exclusively warning me, after a long back and of forth of nothing but pure bias. Mods are supposed to be impartial, but it's obvious in this case that Margerard is not very competent as a chatmod and immediately showed bias towards the regular users, probably due to friendly relations with them. They even went on to sarcastically tell me I should "take some time off" before banning me for 3 days, because of being treated with hostility, as if it was somehow me who was the problem. Pretty pathetic display for a mod, I have to say.
![Rude3](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/5/54/Rude3.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/500?cb=20150207213808)
![Rude4](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/dragonage/images/1/1d/Rude4.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/500?cb=20150207213951)
Taking all this into account, I'd like to ask two questions and make two requests. First off, why is Margerard a moderator when it's obvious that this person is terrible at being impartial and having a good judgement/assuming good faith/being welcoming to new users. Secondly, why are the users in chat so rude? I reckon it's probably due to them knowing they will have Margerard's support no matter what they do, so it's pretty clear to me that they're not worried about any repercussions. My request is for the ban that was placed on me to be lifted, as I have proven that it was definitely not deserved at all. I would ask for Margerard's demotion as well. Thanks. Red Templar Knight[]
Hey! I noticed on the Red templars page, the image captioned as Red Templar Knight is actually of Carroll. Is he the only Red Templar Knight in the game? I was thinking if not, that we could maybe use an image of a generic Red Templar Knight in addition to Carroll. --♫ Kelcat Talk 00:07, February 10, 2015 (UTC)
- He isn't but Carroll does use the same model as all other Red Templar Knights. I also used an image of Knight-Captain Denam as a behemoth for the behemoth article. I am happy to get an image of a generically named Red Templar Knight and Behemoth in game though (the purist in me actually prefers that option, but i wanted to get all the venatori types first so the carroll and denam images were more placeholders than anything.)

Opinion[]
Hey! I'm working on a Dialogue Wheel article for Inquisition and I want to get your opinion on the look of it. I'm tinkering with it in my sandbox here (I've only done the first few, so ignore the DA2 ones still there). What do you think of the icon sizes? Too big or small? What about the color of the description? On the DA2 one it was pretty easy to color-code them, but I'm not so sure it'd be that straightforward with the Inquisition one. I'm veering towards just keeping them the standard white. --♫ Kelcat Talk 22:06, February 28, 2015 (UTC)
- Looks pretty good. Maybe slightly smaller icons.

Individual Abilities[]
hi there, do you think should each ability have its own unique page? WhisperingElf (talk) 23:39, March 7, 2015 (UTC)WhisperingElf
- Hello. Our policy so far has always been to have an individual article for each ability. Primarily this is to allow us to include an image of the ability in use and to give us plenty of space for notes, bugs, additional information etc. On a single skill layout page that would get very cluttered, very quickly.
- Just as added encouragement to do this, I just wrote up the Combos (Inquisition) page and would have loved to have pages for each ability with categories for disablers and detonators. DaBarkspawn (talk) 22:32, March 8, 2015 (UTC)

Also can you please delete the redirect tiled "The Abbess' Anger" ? 10:10, March 9, 2015 (UTC)
Also, this sounds like someone who is trying to hard to get someone whosdoes not agree with him banned... I may discuss a lto with Silver Warden but for me he seems to be anything but a trouble maker.
Also, if this is FDS he has changed and has avoided a lot of fighting -- 21:40, March 9, 2015 (UTC)
I see nothing wrong with the thread, having jumped in and participated a bit. The conversation seems passionate, but civil. Silver Warden may say they hate Vivienne, that's okay with me as she's a fictional character in a game. There's no sign that they've directed that hatred at the real humans who are fellow participants in the forum. DaBarkspawn (talk) 22:07, March 9, 2015 (UTC)

Inquisition: Mortalitasi War Table mission[]
As requested; the information on the mortalitasi war table mission.
Revere
I was saddened to hear that we lost a party of Inquisition soldiers in combat with the Venatori. As I understand it, the Venatori now pose a significant threat to the area. Our soldiers' deaths will not be the last.
The Venatori will expect retaliation -- but not from those already felled. I could send a few apprentices to the field, in secret. If we lure the Venatori out, the soldiers' physical bodies may complete the task. Why let the Venatori claim more lives? We need not allow them that.
Viuus Anaxas.
Josephine: (pass)
Leliana: I do not like this... but if it prevents more deaths, maybe we should consider Viuus' plan.
Cullen: Absolutely not. I can accept that necromancy is not blood magic, but we cannot do this to our soldiers. They're not even Nevarran.
Josephine: (pass)
Leliana: Our work is done. The Venatori who took our soldiers will claim no more lives. At Sister Leliana's request, the soldiers' bodies were granted a proper cremation, in accordance with Southern Andrastian traditions. Viuus Anaxas. Reward: Magister staff blade.
Cullen: I understand we lost more soldiers, but the Venatori threat has been removed. The Commander has ensured that the soldiers received a proper cremation, in accordance with Southern Andrastian traditions. A pity the respect shown must be so narrow. Viuus Anaxas. Reward: 30 Influence.

Temple of Sacred Ashes[]
Hey, HD3. Right now Temple of Sacred Ashes redirects to Ruined Temple. I'm wondering if we should change that redirect into a fully-fledged article about the temple since it was rebuilt and the conclave was held there. The only thing I'm not sure about is that its background and history would be pretty much identical to what's on the Ruined Temple article. Thoughts? --♫ Kelcat Talk 01:33, March 29, 2015 (UTC)
- I think we should keep it as a re-direct, given they make it clear they incorporated the original temple structure into the refurbishment of the Temple.
- There's a codex entry of justinia's personal rumination on the need to restore the temple and Haven, I don't know if it has a date but I'd start there.

I've noticed they usually promote two characters a week, a primary character which they also show on Facebook (Blackwall, Alexius etc) and a secondary character (Stroud, Maddox etc). Sometimes a tertiary epic character as well (Florianne, Templar Samson etc) but they are usually too small to get a decent quality image from. I'll try to get the secondary/tertiary ones when there are new ones, I just assumed they were all shown on Facebook before. The annoying thing is they don't seem to be available anywhere else. --Xsari (Talk) 09:02, March 30, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Grey Warden War Table Quest Banner[]
Ah ok, well I'm currently on the wardens exiled quest-line in my playthrough and for that the banners are the darkspawn ones. I can't remember exactly which banner was used for the allied wardens, thought it was the same, so if I'm wrong it should be changed. --Xsari (Talk) 09:32, April 6, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Heroes of Dragon Age Images[]
Usually I would agree but I just thought the newer image looked cooler with the glowing red lyrium effects. There's two versions of Samson, the new image representing the 2 star more powerful version. --Xsari (Talk) 08:29, April 10, 2015 (UTC)
- I suppose we could try and get the best of both worlds and see if we can use the second image with the glowing red lyrium effects and photoshop out the stat markers.
-HD3 (Talk) 08:43, April 10, 2015 (UTC)
- It's no trouble, happy to help. I agree it is surprising, maybe when another Orleisian event comes around he'll be added. Also there needs to be a legendary Red Lyrium Corypheus added given his importance in Inquisition, most likely 3 star I think. --Xsari (Talk) 01:48, May 2, 2015 (UTC)

Grande Royeaux Theater[]
Yoo the theater is really important because the inner activities reflect the political climate of Orlais, and also is important in the Masked Empire, and it's mentioned as a big supplementation to Celene's revival of the arts. The several codex pages about theater show just how much of a barometer the inner happenings are. i'm a little bit miffed because I'm trying to make articles that are... here just look at the diagram http://www.uefap.com/writing/function/crit.htm User:WhisperingElf
- If I can step in, I don't think anyone can be blamed for not knowing that this is an important article seeing as how it's practically empty. - If once the article is filled out with the codexes etc, I am happy to re-evaluate the deletion nomination, which obviously may no longer be relevant. In future, we can avoid this kind of confusion if you complete the article in its entirety before publishing it, rather than putting up just the outline first, because that just makes it look like its been abandoned.

Information from TWOT Vol. 2[]
I was told to share this with you, since you're a regular editor. I read The World of Thedas Volume 2 today, and am surprised how little of its content has showed up on the wiki. Sadly, I do not own the book; I read it in a book store. But I can tell you what I remember. I'm afraid I can't remember the page numbers, so I can't reference them properly, nor do I recall what I read perfectly. But I have the gist of it...
Sten was apparently unusual in more ways than one. The earliest record of him is dated 9:03 Dragon, an report from some Antivan Crows visiting one of the Qunari cities. Seheron, I think? A young Sten was standing guard at the docks, as the Crows tried to bargain with another Qunari. The Crows were disappointed that the Qunari wouldn't budge, but when they turned to left, their leader heard a Qunari say "Silver." And only that, in Sten's way of making it a question and a statement. The leader turned to Sten, mind-boggled. Qunari didn't "volunteer words". Sten wanted something. That was the oddness. He wasn't just a Qunari without horns; he was curious. Sten asked what "Silver" meant in the common tongue, which the leader explained to be a valuable mineral. Sten asked, "Is that all?" The Crow said, "No. The word is also used to describe things made of silver." Sten kept asking questions, apparently of the common language. He was amazed that you could "eye" a ship, dis"arm" her crew, and "leg" off before anyone knew. He asked what separates the noun from the verb and when to use it. I assume that because the Qunari language is so tightly-made, everything has a unique names; unlike in our language, where one word can have multiple meanings.
The second report of him was years later, by a Tevinter spy I think, after a failed military assault on the Qunari's part. Apparently Sten had become very well spoken, fluent in the common language. But then he did something even more odd: He questioned the Arishok's tactics. No Qunari, apparently, does that. The spy who witnessed the conversation couldn't catch it all, but Sten debated that the South could not be taken by force. Otherwise, it would've fallen already. He saw the need to adjust, to adapt; to use subtlety. The spy, a Tevinter, became worried, saying "We don't need the oxmen learning subtlety and cunning." And now Sten is the Arishok...
What does it change? Character background, is all. I noticed it isn't on his page yet. It's a new facet of his personality. It shows that not all Qunari are like Sten, so unusual even to his own people. --Dragonzzilla (talk) 00:59, July 12, 2015 (UTC)

Multiplayer dialogue[]
Hello High Seeker, Kelcat recommended I talk to you about setting up dialogue pages for the multiplayer characters. Is that something we ought to do? With the PS4 I can double-tap Share to start recording the minute some dialogue crops up, already added some to ZITHER!'s page but I'm thinking it's better off on pages like we've got for the main companions. RShepard227 (talk) 20:07, August 6, 2015 (UTC)
- Two things, first I according to David Gaider, Lord/Lady Seeker is the actual title and High Seeker was just an alternate form of address.
- Second, if you want to help me out with the Multiplayer section, I would absolutely love that. Its been pretty much just me writing every article from scratch since release. Regarding the dialogue itself, I've already uploaded to the video section on the wiki here two vids which have recordings of all the Multiplayer Banter, so what we need to convert that to a transcript form. I've been thinking we should set up a /dialogue section for each multiplayer character similar to the companions. So it sounds like we are in agreement mostly.
I guess then we should figure out how to move forward. I personally would favour picking one multiplayer character and getting all their dialogue written up on the corresponding dialogue article and then moving to the next one. I'm open to feedback though if you've got another suggestion?
-HD3 (Talk) 00:18, August 7, 2015 (UTC)
- Also if you're at all interested in helping improve our multiplayer section outside of the dialogue, please feel free to let me know because some additional help would help us get there a lot faster.
-HD3 (Talk) 00:31, August 7, 2015 (UTC)
-HD3 (Talk) 04:52, August 7, 2015 (UTC)
- Bann Bullshit (User:B.S.S.T.) and I named you High Seeker Hamlet in the Blooming Hanged Man's Rose way back when, so as not to lump you in with the at the time known two Lord Seekers, both of whom are right pricks. Aldren was his name I believe, and he wasn't a prick.
- On to business then. Having /Dialogue pages was the idea I had, glad to know you were thinking the same thing. I'd format similarly to the single player companion pages, but I'd have two sections. The first one for 'Remarks,' which are initiated by the character in question (Bullet point, "statement," followed by line break then colon-bullet point for the possible responses from the other characters. Incidentally, there's a response a la "Arguing With Myself" when another player controls that character, got an example with Tamar recorded this afternoon). The second section is 'Responses,' with a breakdown similar to the single player companions i.e. Hall and Tamar, Rion and Tamar, Cillian and Tamar. I'll draft something up and put it in a sandbox. How do I make those again?
- Also, what's needed on the multiplayer section itself? Is that just one page or a group of pages?
RShepard227 (talk) 02:14, August 8, 2015 (UTC)
- It sounds like you and I are of one mind on this issue then. Character/Dialogue, with Remarks for the first part and Responses for the second. We can include dialogue with the same character, E.G Tamar and Tamar, under the second half.
- In terms of other stuff we need for Multiplayer, its multiple pages. There's still a tonne of stuff we need, some of which I can't do myself because I've progressed too far in the game. The crafting material requirements for the various armour sets and writing up the challenges and their respective rewards on the Challenges (Inquisition multiplayer) article are probably the two biggest areas where we need to expand.
-HD3 (Talk) 02:37, August 8, 2015 (UTC)
- hey, just dropping by to say I'd be willing to help with the multiplayer dialogue thing if you ever set it in motion! I could try to add the requirements for some armors as well, though I've got a fair deal of them crafted already.--ssalgnikool (talk) 11:13, August 8, 2015 (UTC)
- Feel free to contribute however you wish, we always need more help. In fact I will go draw up a straw dog of the Dialogue article right now. As for the armour sets, I have the same issue, I've already crafted so many that I can't check the requirements for a lot of them. If you want to get the requirements for a set though, feel free to add it to the article, or if the article isn't written yet, you can list it here and I'll add it later, unless you want to write it yourself of course.

Multiplayer armor update[]
In case you'd like to keep track of it, I think all DAIMP medium armor is accounted for now. So only heavy armor left! I'll wait for some inspiration (read: patience) and do it.
- Great work on all that, you've really saved me a lot of time and effort. Its very much appreciated. Seriously, up until this point I've been doing quite literally all the multiplayer work by myself.
P.S What about the Light armour?
-HD3 (Talk) 10:49, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
- Let's pretend I didn't forget to sign my post...
- Light armor was already done a few days before Descent came out and I stopped working on MP. I'll eventually, probably slowly, take pics of the armors I own, but since my game is modded (nothing too extreme but still a few changes) that requires reverting to the vanilla patch before I take the screenshots and I couldn't be bothered thus far.--ssalgnikool (talk) 17:02, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
- I can take care of the armour set images, I've already crafted almost all of them anyway and I play Inquisition without mods.
-HD3 (Talk) 20:51, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
Heads up, I THINK I'm finished with all the armors, including updating old ones with incorrect rating/rarity. I certainly can't think of anything I've forgotten, at least.
I've also done an overhaul in the Multiplayer armor page, adding all the remaining sets, separating it by light/med/heavy (since the list was entirely too long otherwise) and then organizing it alphabetically. I think a table of contents would be useful so one doesn't have to scroll through the entire thing to reach a certain armor type, but I have no idea how to force one.--ssalgnikool (talk) 05:40, August 19, 2015 (UTC)
- You've set it up really clearly, the division into different armour categories should also make it much easier to search through too. Overall, some very clear and concise work. Its exactly how I would've laid it out. I'll get to work adding the images and a table of contents ASAP. Thanks for all your work on this!

Spoilers on Abilities[]
Hello there! How are you doing? I was checking the latest wiki pages and I found that the abilities paragraph consumes too much space without being hidden in some form which is kind of unacceptable. Example. I think the Abilities section should be hidden inside spoilers after a specific number of abilities. What do you think? 21:39, August 20, 2015 (UTC)
- Hey sorry for the lateness of my reply. I'm good but how are you? What are you up to these days?
As for the abilities. Its an interesting idea. I'm not sure about a 'spoiler' tag. Unless we make a new spoiler which clearly says its just to save space and not a plot spoiler. I would definitely be open to evaluating possible options to make the page look more concise.

- As a someone else with an opinion, a) the trivia items don't bother me being on the wiki page itself and b) I would think that a wiki admin would have a pretty good sense for the rules and what belongs on a page. DaBarkspawn (talk) 20:24, September 14, 2015 (UTC)
Gears in the Deep Roads[]
Hey HD3, two days ago I updated the Gears in the Deep Roads page, although I am still missing one. Also, I need someone else to move over my directions and if necessary rewrite them if they aren't clear (I need to adjust 2-3 but I'll have to go back to that section of the game again with a new char to find out which ones it were...). Are you willing to do that? Thanks in advance. --Eternal Undead Dragon (talk) 08:06, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you're asking me to do. Sorry but could you explain again?

Forum Edit[]
Hey, HD3, I think Darion Cousland's last post accidentally erased mine over on the Forum:Trespasser dlc knowledge and the plot of DA4 page. I'm not confident in my skills to Undo and Revise so I was wondering if you could restore my post and any others that were written over? Thank you! Shenachie (talk) 21:10, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
Saarath[]
Nope, they are not identical, that's the point. If you look closely you can see that his mask is broken. Besides, he is glowing with magic when you meet him in the second time and he summons demons, all because during the first encounter he broke the magical leash Qunari use to control mages. He can be only seen in his second form during the final battle and it takes place next to the eluvian. I am unable to reupload the image - the wiki won't let me. Can you restore it please? Asherinka (talk) 00:10, September 21, 2015 (UTC)
- Ok that makes more sense, I'd still prefer if we could get a new image of the second bout though without the eluvian in the background
-HD3 (Talk) 00:12, September 21, 2015 (UTC)
- Actually that looks pretty cool to me but thats just my opinion.
- Also, I grant you this is really just a matter of semantics, but that thing about the trivia section always immediately following involvement has always been more followed in the breach than the observed, I just picked out 6 location articles at random, all of which had trivia sections multiple sections below involvement.
-HD3 (Talk) 00:18, September 21, 2015 (UTC)
- I decided to check the guidelines and this is what we have DA:LOCATION. I'll move the caption accordingly. Asherinka (talk) 00:25, September 21, 2015 (UTC)

Collapsible abilities[]
Hey! I recall seeing somewhere that you were looking to collapse the multiplayer character abilities. How do you like the option on Hissera? We can also have all the abilities displayed by default and only collapsed when the button is hit. Loleil Talk 22:39, September 25, 2015 (UTC)
- Looks good to me! Viktoria was saying that was a problem for mobile platform users so I think this should definitely help us. Thanks Loleil!

Dialogue points[]
Is it really necessary to list all places twice (as places and as dialogue points)? I left a note and wrote the companions in brackets, I thought that was enough. Now it just looks clumsy. Asherinka (talk) 10:15, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I merged the captions back. There are only three locations with dialogue points in Trespasser. Other zones lack these.
- PS Dialogue points were featured on all companion pages back in Awakening, see Sigrun#Dialogue_points for an example. I was thinking if we need to add them to DAI companion pages as well. Asherinka (talk) 10:20, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- There's no precedent for marking dialogue points on the places section. There is for making a separate dialogue point section see City of Amaranthine for instance. Alternatively, I am happy with listing the dialogue points on the companion page instead.
-HD3 (Talk) 10:26, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- Actually the ideal solution would be, rather than just listing the places twice which is at best only marginally helpful, to include a specific description of the location of the dialogue points in each zone.
-HD3 (Talk) 10:44, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm picturing it as using the same layout we've got going on City of Amaranthine, so we've got them in a separate section from the Places section. That work for you?
-HD3 (Talk) 11:03, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I know Loleil is doing the walkthrough for the main trespasser quest now, you could ask her.
-HD3 (Talk) 11:13, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
PS Not quite related, but if you need to avoid pictures or spoiler tags messing up the layout of the text, you could use {{Clr}}. Works like magic. I've only discovered it recently myself. Asherinka (talk) 11:46, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
- Oh that works on body sections too? That'll be such a time saver
-HD3 (Talk) 11:52, September 28, 2015 (UTC)
Hello. I'm glad I could help a bit. I realized that a few pages, like Sylvan Raids, have the section Results. I'd like to add Results to other pages, but I'm not sure if putting images is the best way. It seems better to use the same template that we already use for Available Actions. Is there a discussion about it somewhere? I'm not used to Talk pages yet, so please warn me if I'm doing anything wrong. Thanks.--Alysteran (talk) 17:01, October 16, 2015 (UTC)
Fade Wall[]
Thank you for changing the Fen'Harel and Fade Wall pages back! I apologize, as I had not seen Darrah's tweets on that. Do you by chance have a cite for them, as I'd be curious to take a look at what he said? Thanks again and sorry for the confusion on those pages! :) --WardenWade (talk) 02:51, October 21, 2015 (UTC)
- It's allright, its my own damn fault for not posting a citation link. I'll dig up the tweet and post a link when I get back

Bownammar Plate name[]
I noticed that the name of the item was changed to Bownammar from Bownammer. While I acknowledge that the correct spelling of the place is Bownammar, I was unaware that the name mistake had been fixed in-game. I triple-checked the spelling when I added it. I will cross-post to the item's talk page. Crazylace (talk) 00:19, October 22, 2015 (UTC)
- Aw, crap. Is it really listed as Bownammer plate in game? I haven't replayed the maingame since trespasser came out. Bollocks. Can you upload an image of the typo'd name? We should make a note or a re-direct somewhere about this if its typo'd in game
-HD3 (Talk) 00:20, October 22, 2015 (UTC)
- Talk:Bownammar_Plate Should be there as a thumbnail. I'm lucky I still had an uncropped shot of it, tbh. Crazylace (talk) 03:43, October 22, 2015 (UTC)
Multiplayer stuff[]
Hey, so remember when you asked me to help out with some multiplayer equipment stuff a million years ago? Do you still need help with anything? Also, what do you think about making a separate dialogue/character link menu for the multiplayer characters? I think it would be better to do a whole separate one than add them onto the Inquisition one (even though we won't have approval pages for them). --♫ Kelcat Talk 02:56, October 25, 2015 (UTC)
- Which post was this? I don't remember. As for making a seperate dialogue/character link, I would say create a separate sub category, multiplayer character dialogues?

Ameridan editing war[]
As I'm sure you've noticed, the ongoing back-and-forth editing of Ameridan's page between an unnamed Wikia contributor and User:Virrac has now escalated to insults on the talk page regarding the Dalish category. Personally, it's quite childish and a shame that this has been going on over a minor dispute. Chant of Light verse in the Calling[]
Hey! Happy New Year's!
Can you verify something for me from the Calling? I can't seem to find my copy of the book. According to Chant of Light verses, the beginning of Chapter 18 of the book has the following lines credited to Transfigurations 10:
The one who repents, who has faith,
Unshaken by the darkness of the world,
She shall know true peace.
These three lines don't show up in the chant of light verses I'm trascribing from WoT2 so I'm curious to know if this stanza really is labled as Transfig. 10. --♫ Kelcat Talk 09:04, January 1, 2016 (UTC)

Portability and why it's important[]
Hello HD3!
I left a new forum thread moments ago regarding our conversion to the new Portable Infobox and why it's important. Not only it's it needed for current mobile traffic but the new markup allows us to update the template code internally for the constant changes in future technology, with the intent to avoid or at least reduce global conversion processes such as this later on. More importantly however, is the fact that the new Portable Infobox simply looks and works better on mobile devices and with the significant climb in mobile views just over the past two years, it is obvious that this trend will continue. Please read the thread and encourage your community to begin a discussion. Our original contact with your community back in August 2015 regarding this topic, unfortunately went unnoticed. We are excited about the conversions as well as the growth in mobile users and want to make sure your community is aware as well. Thank you!

Hi, HD3, I've made an improvement suggestion regarding the new boxes in the thread above, and I need a sysop to review and to implement the CSS changes. The thread was originally supervised by Loleil, but she's busy at the moment, so I'm turning to the most recently active admin help. Thanks! --Koveras Alvane (talk) 14:49, May 9, 2016 (UTC)
- Hey Koveras, I can take a look at it but Tierrie would probably be a better choice to apply the actual changes. I am middling at CSS at best. I'll take a look at this tomorrow and get back to you.
-HD3 (Talk) 15:29, May 11, 2016 (UTC)
- OK, I'll wait. I didn't really know who to ask about CSS changes, because Project:Administrators doesn't list technical changes as any particular sysop's area of competence. :-( --Koveras Alvane (talk) 18:24, May 11, 2016 (UTC)

Images[]
Hey, HD3! If an image is used on anywhere on the wiki, it shouldn't be deleted--even ones on talk pages. There's no guidelines against having images on talk pages so there's no reason to remove them. Thanks! --♫ Kelcat Talk 01:51, July 4, 2016 (UTC)
- Which image are you talking about?
-HD3 (Talk) 03:49, July 4, 2016 (UTC)
- Actually there is a certain case in the guidelines in regards to the deletion of images. In the past we have also deleted hundreds of images which were unused for many months or years. (unused = not featured anywhere)
18:53, July 4, 2016 (UTC)
- If this is about the cheese wheel image in crestwood, we already reached a consensus on the talk page and decided to delete it and place a written reference in the easter egg article instead.
-HD3 (Talk) 22:09, July 4, 2016 (UTC)
- Viktoria -- Thanks for the link, but it's not really relevent to the images I was referring to. The only thing about deletion in those guidelines is if there are more than 10 images on a user page, which wasn't the issue with images I was referring to. See below:
- HD3 -- Yes, that is one of the images I was referring to. There is nothing in the discussion stating anyone "agreed" to removing the image, just that the image shouldn't be put on the main article. If anyone were to read that talk page thread they wouldn't be able to contribute to the discussion because they would be unaware of what image was being discussed. Ergo, it's better to keep the image being discussed for future reference. There were also two user images http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/File:WP_20160621_22_20_20_Pro.jpg and http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/File:WP_20160620_00_50_31_Pro.jpg that were used on a user's talk page. They weren't tagged correctly, but wouldn't it be better just to add the correct tag rather than delete the images with no warning? Basically, it's just a good idea to click on the "about" tab on an image and make sure there's nothing under the "appears on these pages" heading. Anyway, was just trying to help out with something you might not have been aware of! --♫ Kelcat Talk 02:12, July 5, 2016 (UTC)
- I understand where you're coming from with the user images, although I don't entirely understand why we should have to tag personal images users should be doing themselves, I'll give more of a warning in future then to just tag them correctly.
As for the cheese wheel thing, DaBarkSpawn and I mutually agreed to go with a written entry instead of an image and the Tavin/Taven thing was already noted in written format in the article. So I just didn't see any point in retaining those images. I just think if the discussion is over and the image has served its purpose and is no longer required, we should delete it. If its served its purpose, its done.
-HD3 (Talk) 02:17, July 5, 2016 (UTC)

- I'm doing good. Super ready for winter to be over, but other than that not bad. I've been trying to get the Heroes of Dragon Age info caught up on the wiki as we're missing a bunch of character stats, but it's slow going because the game gets a little tedious lol. There's a new omnibus out that has all three of the DA comics in it that I might pick up, I've never read them before which I should really rectify. --♫ Kelcat Talk 21:13, February 27, 2017 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, it's definitely worth it. The one by david gaider about alsitair, varric and isabela is really good. Magekiller, I felt was...eh, its ok. The first two issues where it works on developing their own characters are better, the latter 3 with the arc which just loosely ties into the inquisition story is a bit overshadowed by the game.

So this is a thing that exists now that wikia never officially announced to us, which is par for the course with wikia. I'm assuming it's our responsibility to maintain civility and stuff on it, too since it's part of the wiki. Thankfully there's a "report" function for users to report spam and wank so I'll check in on that every once in awhile. I went ahead and introduced us since it doesn't look like the people chatting there contribute to the main wiki so they probably don't know who we are. - I understand. Was that the only purpose we need a bot~routine for?

- Another example, sometimes the redirect page is turned into a disambiguation page or an entirely different page which essentially means that the links (in item pages, etc) are broken. Example. Generally the bots are useful for mass edits like User:Mostlyautumn used his bot. But for my work I have only needed one for the simple purpose of fixing links. In case you noticed a few hours ago I manually fixed the links of Mining caste page.

The Questline (in suggestive order)[]
Hello! I noticed a user recently created an article titled "The Questline (in suggestive order)". I'd like to recommend this page for deletion. Adding false info and leaves Abusive Talks and Trying to Impede the openness and fairness of Dragon Age WIKI from Anonymous IP[]
Hello HD3, an anonymous IP address keeps adding unverified information on Danarius and Fenris' relationship, and adding unrooted headcanons and alleging lies where David Gaider had never confirmed and keeps reverting others changes and leaves dirty and abusive talks and trying to impede and impair the freedom and fairness the dragon age wiki. I figured I'd inform an admin to possibly deal with her. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/2A00:23C5:7308:ED00:4443:CF2E:C485:E578 http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/2A00:23C5:7308:ED00:F818:5381:31F:C98F
Here's her IPs, which obviously comes from the same one, given the same way of trash talk and abusive character.
Danarius and Fenris.[]
Hi, just stumbled on the Wikia's little war about Danarius and Fenris. I'm obviously not an administrator, just a simple observer but I do believe the two should be protected from further editing. Because the user who keeps removing them seems to believe it's simply headcanon from the cited URL which I personally know isn't the case as it was on his Tumblr before he removed it. I'm currently trying to get it from his Tumblr archives but I'm personally struggling. Just my opinion from a lowly traveller. 212.219.7.3 (talk) 13:11, January 5, 2018 (UTC)
Seems someone is trying to ask "authority" to shut others up just because their lies are being removed[]
To the previous poster ROFL, why don't you suggest that all the wiki to be locked from editing by everyone but yourself, so that they will fit your lies and perverted headcanons forever.
The "source" was from tumblr of two cosplayers' vague and second hand interpretation ("headcanon") which did not even involve any direct citation from david gaider, and being even more intentionally over-interpreted in the removed sentence. Dgaider never said anything even slightly related to that, even when explicitly asked on the internet. But, sure, it's just easier for someone to lie and try to shut people up when their headcanons and perverted imaginations are being removed.
Also, changing your anonymous physical address to an anonymous IP address might not serve you as well as you expected to pretend to be a new "observer", LMAO. You think this would de-emphasize all the abusive and trash talks from your previous posts?(Which obviously did nothing more than revealing that you are exactly the names you called). And that explains perfectly that only such a person full of trash talk and abusive character would want anyone on the wiki to be silenced as long as they don't fit their headcanons. The posts from you says enough themselves.

Revert and Locked every wiki because they don't fit your headcanon?[]
About Danarius and Fenris' relationship's headcanon

Also, it seems quite sarcastic that the admin (Loleil) who protected the wiki term shows a significant personal favoring when alleging that they are doing so to stop the "War" while they themselves keeps reverting back the term to their "favored" version first and then lock the item. LMAO. A bunch of perverted twisted minds gathering together to solidify their imaginations and abusing any pathetic "authority” does not make headcanons to be fact. And I suppose, this "incident" definitely tells a lot about the actual validation and credibility about the Dragon Age Wiki, ROFL.
Admin Loleil Abusing admin authority to fit her headcanon[]
http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Loleil This Admin is abusing her authority by locking wiki terms which stating fake info that did not come from david gaider at all. Ironically enough, this admin who was alleging to stop the "reverting of editing" has reverted the wiki to her "favored" version herself(which was nowhere to be found from David Gaider)first and then locked the wiki to prevent all users from stating the fact so that her headcanon can be preserved. This is so barefaced and shameless abusing of authority and sure says a lot about the actual validation and credibility about the Dragon Age Wiki. Am wondering they might as well do this to all the wiki terms as long as the world doesn't go their way.
Hey,
Are you the artist who made the elven pantheon stained glass mosaics? If so I'd like your permission to use them in a video I'm making or if you know the artist could you provide me their Link so I can contact them?

Page issue[]
I'm contacting you about Cold Snap, a page I think maybe should be deleted. It's orphaned, and I'm not sure what it pertains to. Buccaneer Blue (talk)
- Thank you for informing me. I have resolved the issue.

War Table Editing[]
Hi, HD3! In my current PT, I noticed that Smash (operation) requires Influence level 8 before it becomes available, even if one becomes a Tempest before that. But when I open the editor on the Mission section, all of the entries seem to have some sort of template. Can you tell me where to edit to add a prereq for this? Thanks! DaBarkspawn (talk) 04:13, June 29, 2018 (UTC)
- Hey DA, Its in the quest transformer infobox in the top right.
-HD3 (Talk) 11:36, June 29, 2018 (UTC)
- P.S: unless you meant the war table article? I'm presuming you intended the mission article itself for smash.
-HD3 (Talk) 11:47, June 29, 2018 (UTC)
- No, you were right the first time. Works perfectly: changing the transformer on the Smash page updates the War Table page. I did have to shift-reload to make the change visible for some reason. DaBarkspawn (talk) 14:21, June 29, 2018 (UTC)
Edit war[]
There is an edit war happen in this article that need attention since the user keep adding speculation even there is an explanation.

Edit War.[]
I've made an explanation on the talk page why it's off how there's speculation about the Human Noble and Circle Mage while the user's City Elf part can't stay, please read and reply. Because I'm finding it exceptionally contradictory how the Wiki is allowing the Circle Mage and Human Noble to have speculation on their alternate endings if not chosen but not the City Elf. 139.99.159.23 (talk) 09:44, July 1, 2018 (UTC)
Hey me, again. Because ultimately the reasoning is speculation and quite frankly I'm finding Virrac's reasoning to be nothing more than just poor I've removed the "likely died" and that effect for the Human Noble and Circle Mage as it's ultimately speculating their fate, why can those two stay if the City Elf can't? It's still ultimately speculation on their fates, while I do agree the Human Noble's fate is more than likely being killed by Howe's soldiers we ultimately don't know, and the Circle Mage's speculated fate is being stretched by an incredibly large margin. 149.28.175.232 (talk) 14:46, July 1, 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've temporarily protected the article and proposed a solution on the article discussion page, feel free to comment there. Cheers,

Video spam[]
See history here: https://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/Raimundo91 . These are all just videos of various combat sequences, which as we know, can be very different depending on party composition, equipment, quest choices and a multitude of other things. It also feels like someone is using the wiki to drive traffic to their YouTube page. So, I've rolled them all back, but I noticed that I don't have enough privileges to actually delete the videos, so I'm requesting you do that for me. I've also left an explanation on their talk page of why I did the rollbacks. Thanks! DaBarkspawn (talk) 03:54, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
Help with Gorithan-Sharok[]
Hey I have used this Wiki often but I've only been a member for a short time so I don't understand anything about editing or adding pages. So I'm asking for help. While watching a Dragon Age 2 Legacy DLC party banter video on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngV5Ttd-HHA at 1:21:00 and afterwards they mention an historical figure called Gorithan-Sharok. It also makes mention of a quest related to this character. There is no mention of him or this quest on this wiki so I added him in sloppily. I want to stress that all I am basing this on is the video and have (despite playing through the dlc twice) not encountered this. I am merely asking if others have stumbled upon this or if this is just cut party banter from the DLC. I apologize for the incovenience and if its not actually In the game I will immediately delete the sorry page I created dedicated to him
P.S. I'm very sorry for being a noob at this and inconveniencing you

- Hello, I listen to the youtube video https://youtu.be/ngV5Ttd-HHA?t=4928 and im sure that is a cut content because as long as i play the dlc in multiple playthough, i never encounter the carta dwarf.

Varric Interview[]

- Mary Kirby did it as promotional material on a few websites. Also, where did you order your print copy of the book from?
-HD3 (Talk) 10:24, August 6, 2018 (UTC)
- Amazon preorder. It is 72 pages, same as listed on the Dark Horse site. DaBarkspawn (talk) 15:13, August 6, 2018 (UTC)
Wikia Domain Change[]
- Hey, I don't know if you heard, but Wikia is changing everyone's domain to fandom.com, e.g., dragonage.fandom.com. See https://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:1022316 for commentary. DaBarkspawn (talk) 14:40, August 22, 2018 (UTC)

Swing vote[]
Hey after the tone in the last message I don't think this conversation can get anywhere. However a 3rd voice can break the impasse so that one side or the other prevails. Can you help us out? 07:25, October 18, 2018 (UTC)
Jean-Gaspard[]
Leliana said that the rumors were true though about Jean-Gaspard's parentage.
Yours Truly Valenthyne (talk) 04:55, November 19, 2018 (UTC)
Again, context is key. Leliana says the rumours were true but this is on the basis of the "proof" which she is strongly implied to have been manufactured by her.
"I understand that I have you to thank for the sudden arrival of proof of Jean-Gaspard’s heritage. The Grey Warden’s love poems were most convincing, although his decision to rhyme "falling" with "Calling" was less so. Regardless, Jean-Gaspard has lost all claim to the duchy. "

Spoiler templates rewrite (important)[]
Hey, I wanted to let you know what I have been doing to make sure our spoiler templates display properly on mobile devices. Many used to appear not at all (in the Mercury skin used when on mobile), but after I reclassified them they now all do. Unfortunately however, the warnings themselves were rendered in Mercury in a broken fashion (they also had “click here to reveal them” in the warnings, even though JavaScript doesn’t actually work in Mercury & clicking does nothing, leading to confusion). I had a quick fix to simply vanish the broken warning in Mercury, but the method I used isn’t supported & won’t work forever; plus, it would be good if mobile viewers could see the warnings, too.
So I have a solution that can do just that, but it requires installing some CSS that I wrote while also, at the same time so as to prevent bugs, replacing the guts of Template:Spoiler with my rewritten version here. Only admins are allowed to edit CSS, so I’d like to ask if you would add the CSS I wrote to this file. The only real difference you’re likely to notice between the old & new versions would be that the style=short
parameter results in spoiler warnings that are worded a bit differently, & that quotes/“click”-related text is now stored in CSS rather than the templates themselves so that they will be stripped away when viewing via Mercury. In Mercury, not only will the problem be permanently fixed, but you’ll see warnings such as these:
The actual spoiler content won’t be collapsed in Mercury, but it’s something at least; right now Mercury viewers have no warnings at all. It’s also possible to make the game/book/etc titles into links that work in mobile & desktop with this method, but on desktop you might accidentally click the link when trying to click the warning, so you might not want to do that. I & my fellow Vanguard members (Portability specialists) came up with this solution for better mobile display on this Wiki, & on a few prospective Wikis which wish to use our types of spoiler templates, so it ought to be very smooth if installed properly. If you have any questions, please let me know :)
- Hey, just letting you know that Loleil took care of it, so you don’t have to worry about it anymore. Cheers.
New Year's Resolutions[]
Hey P, Merry Christmas! Heading into 2019 I would like to ask from an admin the resolution of some long-standing, in some cases years-long candidancies that have not been addressed.
These are:
- Candidates for deletion
- Candidates for merge
- Candidates for moving
- Candidates for speedy deletion
- Candidates for split
Thank you and have a Happy New Year! 16:09, December 30, 2018 (UTC)
- Certainly. I will examine them now.

Vandalism[]
I don't know if this is the right place to report it. There is an IP who keeps vandalizing The Warden. That IP apparently does not care if their changes are undone, so I thought somebody with moderation rights might look into it before an edit war breaks out.--Buckeldemon (talk) 12:10, June 22, 2019 (UTC)

Checking in on the Advisor Program[]
Hi,
I'm just checking in with those taking part in the advisors project. Hopefully you will have had some time to see how it works, and have some ideas on how it can be improved!
How has it been working out for you and this wiki? We know that few people who sign up actually ask questions, but have you had any good (or bad) experiences with those who have?
Can you think of any areas we could improve on to make this a better system?
And my final question: looking at the project overall, how many stars out out of 5 would you give it (and why)?
Thanks so much for being a part of this experiment. Giving your knowledge and expertise to the next generation of editors is a great thing. Thanks! -- Sannse (help forum | blog) 23:39, January 23, 2020 (UTC)
Vandal[]
User:78.126.168.77 seems to be deleting sections of articles in a non-constructive way which I think is vandalism and it hasn't been the first time. Please deal with the vandal.(Sports72Xtrm (talk) 14:53, 20 April 2022 (UTC))
Cole Dialog and Easter Eggs[]
After I wrote this comment, I looked back at the page itself and noticed a whole lot of Cole references. I think that I should remove or move to his dialog page all of the ones for which Cole is the only reference. E.g., remove/move the Citizen Kane one, but keep the Jade Empire one since there are a bunch of JE references to group together. What do you think? DaBarkspawn (talk) 16:07, 21 February 2023 (UTC)
