Stream Integration or Chat Control is a mechanic and a special modifier for DOORS, being released along with the Content Update. It is a special feature which allows for mid-stream interaction between a streamer and their viewers to either help or hinder them and their teammates.
Trivia[]
- Thinknoodles, one of the testers for this function confirmed that multiple Candy effects will be able to be voted by the stream viewers[citation needed].
- Effects on the voting GUI imply that Glitch is behind the function.
- Emojis that have been messaged in chat will appear in game, bouncing around the room.
- When dying to "Lose 99 HP Over Time", the death screen will show "Died to Chat". Strangely, this will override the name of any entity the player dies to if they happen to die to one while this effect is active.
- The message displayed when attempting to hide while "Disable Hiding Spots" is active reads "Chat wants you to die".
- In Thinknoodles's stream, he revealed that when having talking with one of the creators of doors, they added the "You Finally Turn Green" vote to the game just for him.[citation needed]
- In a CheddarBalls video, he revealed that the STUPID HORSE was added to the game as a Christmas present for him by one of the creators of doors (most likely redibles) as a possible rush clone that can spawn during stream integration if the chat votes for it.
- Ao Oni comes from a 2004 RPG Maker horror game of the same name.
- Stream integration was inspired by tower heroes being the first roblox game to do it[1]
- The tower heroes developer also helped LSplash to add stream integration to doors[2]
