Meltdown Mayhem is the eighth level of the world Donkey Kong Island, as well as the fifty-sixth level overall in the game Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It takes place inside the frozen volcano. Along with Spinning Spines, this is one of two levels that feature lava as a main hazard. It is preceded by Frozen Frenzy or Icicle Arsenal, and followed by Volcano Dome.

- This level is based on the Volcano world of the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.
- During some sections of the level, an omnious laughter can be heard. It is assumed that the laughter belongs to Lord Fredrik, the final boss of the game Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
