"The Emerald Coconut" is the second segment of the thirteenth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on March 18, 2011 alongside "Hook Seals a Deal!".
Plot[]
Jake and his crew receive a message from Peter Pan about a legendary Emerald Coconut for Cubby to take a picture of. Izzy tells Skully that the Emerald Coconut is for everyone to enjoy, as it's not supposed to be taken. Jake mentions that Peter Pan put booby-traps around the Emerald Coconut to keep it safe from Captain Hook, who then overhears this. He and Mr. Smee then follow.
Jake and his crew then find the Emerald Coconut, and Cubby takes a picture of it. He decides to take a closer look when Jake stops him and warns of the booby-traps. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are delighted to see the Emerald Coconut. Captain Hook uses his lasso-hook to take it despite a warning from Cubby, and this activates the booby-trap, one that lowers a cage. Jake and Izzy push Captain Hook and Mr. Smee out of the path but become trapped themselves. Jake then finds a note from Peter Pan, which states that those in the trap will be freed if the coconut is returned to the tree. Captain Hook refuses to return the coconut to the tree, as he decides to add it to his coconut collection in the Jolly Roger.
Cubby then decides to get the Emerald Coconut from Hook and free Jake and Izzy from the trap. Cubby and Skully then follow Captain Hook and Mr. Smee to Shipwreck Beach. To get there before them, Cubby thinks like Jake and uses big slippery leaves as a shortcut to get to Shipwreck Beach fast. Once there, he tells Captain Hook to give the Emerald Coconut to him. Captain Hook notices this, and gives it to him, although Mr. Smee states that it isn't the coconut. Cubby thanks Captain Hook, but finds a normal coconut in the bag. After Captain Hook wishes Cubby good luck, Cubby then thinks like Izzy and comes up with an idea of flying to the Jolly Roger by bouncing on a plank on a shipwreck like a diving board.
Once he makes it there, he and Skully see Captain Hook's coconut collection. Cubby then looks at the coconut, and it is revealed to be the left one on the center shelf. Captain Hook catches him and Skully. Cubby praises Captain Hook for his coconut collection, and decides to protect them with a pirate booby-trap. Once it is set up, Captain Hook tries to take the Emerald Coconut, and it activates the booby-trap, leaving Captain Hook hanging while Cubby takes the coconut.
Meanwhile, Jake and Izzy know Cubby won't let them down when he arrives with the Emerald Coconut. He tells Jake and Izzy that although he was nervous at first, when his friends needed help, he did whatever it took. Cubby then places the Emerald Coconut back where it belongs, freeing Jake and Izzy.
Back on Pirate Island, Cubby puts the gold doubloons he collected into the Team Treasure Chest. He then reveals two great new pictures for his collection: one with the Emerald Coconut, and the other with him and his very best mateys. Meanwhile, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee return to the Emerald Coconut. Captain Hook uses his lasso-hook to take it again, despite a warning from Mr. Smee, and he soon becomes trapped in the cage. Mr. Smee tells him that if they're lucky, Cubby would come back and save him, which he dislikes.
