"The Devil" (also referred to by the Sanderson Sisters as "The Master") is a minor character in Hocus Pocus. He is a man wearing a devil costume whom the Sanderson sisters initially assume to be their "master", the real Satan.

"The Devil" is first seen giving candy to children and is overheard by the Sanderson Sisters, who are close by and assume it’s their "master" the real devil. Flattered by this, he wholeheartedly welcomes them into his home. There, he introduces them to his wife, who they believe is Medusa. He later dances with Sarah Sanderson, but is caught by his wife and the sister are chased out of the house by his dog, Ralph.
Hocus Pocus 2[]
"The Devil" and his wife make a cameo in this film on a TV. There are also some citizens of Salem dressed up as them.
