"Summer of La Madriguera" is the first segment of the sixth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Primos.
Synopsis[]
With Tater's Corner overrun by primos, Tater hunts for a hiding place to call her own.
Plot[]
Despite having a corner to herself, Tater is still annoyed at the fact that the primos invade her personal space and are always interrupting her alone time when she is trying to concentrate on her "final form". Nellie continues to belittle her sister's goals and tells her to simply go with the flow of summer by meditating. Guided by a documentary-like narrator. Tater decides to make it her goal to find a new location where she can collect her thoughts. She goes about the house, running into a variety of obstacles and other primos who constantly stymie her journey with finding the perfect hiding spot.
Tater eventually makes her way to a crawl space attic that rests right above the garage. Impressed with its space and its support, she makes plans to move in. She is briefly accosted by an opossum living in the space, but she manages to scare it away. She fills the space with her things, only for Nellie to suddenly pop her head in. Ever delighted to rain in on Tater's happiness, Nellie threatens to tell the other primos about the place and begins messing with her by popping in and out of the insulation. However, Nellie ends up getting stuck in one of the floor boards as the opossum threatens to attack her feet.
Overcome with the need to protect her sister, Tater rescues Nellie and scares the opossum away. Nellie admits that the reason why she meditates is because she too does not have a private place of her own. Tater offers that she can stay in the crawl space with her, but Nellie feigns being allergic so that Tater can be by herself. Tater in turn gives Nellie a yoga mat. When Nellie is confronted by Gordita, Lucita, and Nachito about Tater's whereabouts, Nellie tells them that she will be around when she is ready, keeping the crawl space secret. Afterwards, Nellie is still attacked by the vengeful opossum.

Trivia[]
- La Madriguera is Spanish for the burrow.
- This episode, as well as the narrator, are clear parodies of the Richard Attenborough nature documentaries. This is very similar to the Big City Greens episode "Concrete Jungle".
- Tater and Nellie are depicted freely swimming around the pink insulation in the crawl space. In real life, such a thing would not only be uncomfortable, but also dangerous due to the high levels of materials used in them. This is lamp shaded at with a brief shot of Tater with a red-puffy looking face.
- As is common in many cartoons, opossums (often mistakenly referred to as simply possums) are depicted as being wild, savage creatures that randomly attack. In real life, opossums are actually fairly docile animals that try to avoid people as much as possible.
