Snore is a minor character in the Disney/Pixar animated series, Monsters at Work. She is a human infant whose room was accidentally damaged by Thaddeus Bile who sneezed while trying to make her laugh to provide energy in Monsters, Inc., which led to Val, Tylor, Duncan, and Cutter to repair her room.

Background[]

Snore is a human infant who lives in the human world. Next to Snore's crib herself is a writing on a wall saying, "The Princess Sleeps Here", implying that she like princess themes. During her encounter with Thaddeus Bile in a plan to make her laugh after many objects hit him, Snore happily reacts to him, thinking he finds it funny. However, in spite of this, Snore can occasionally feel uncomfortable in certain situations such as Tylor Tuskmon attempting to tickle her only for her to cry, implying that Snore dislikes being tickled as well as negative comments about her like during the situation where Mike and Sulley bring her to the Creepees Stadium where Mike argues with a Red Shocks super fan when a match between the Monstropolis Creepees and the Red Shocks takes place. In spite of this, she even calmed down when Mike brought Snore back to her room when the former sang a lullaby to her after the MIFT team repaired a hole that was damaged in Snore's room earlier, showing that Snore calms down when upset whenever she listens to lullabies.

Role in the series[]

In "The Damaged Room", Thaddeus Bile enters Snore's room where the former finds her sleeping in her crib and as soon as he approaches her, Bile sneezes and causes many objects to hit him while Snore happily reacts to him, much to Bile telling her if her parents will ever notice her - albeit his acidic mucus causing a hole that damaged part of the wall in Snore's room. Noticing this, Bile informs Maria telling her of what he did earlier which Bile tells her that he damaged part of Snore's room where he made her laugh which Maria alerts Celia to close the door for repairs while Roze tells the monsters that she and the other employees are cleaning the Laugh Floor which Bile explained that he sneezed while Maria feels disappointed of what Bile did to the room which Celia plans to get the room back online while alerting MIFT about the damaged room, leading Fritz, Val, Tylor, and Duncan to arrive at the area where Snore's room was damaged. Cutter then tells Tylor to wear a helmet while dealing with a damaged room which Fritz offers him to wear a helmet while Duncan asks Fritz to know if he should send Tylor to deal with the problem of wearing a helmet to repair Snore's damaged room to which they plan to figure out a way to repair it.

Val and Tylor approach Mike, Sulley, Celia, and cutter which Mike tries to make sure to get Snore out of her room safely while repairing the door which Mike feels unsure of what he and Sulley should do with Snore in her room to avoid letting her room end up in the same way they did with Boo just as Mike takes a bucket from Needleman to get Snore out of her room for safety which Mike and Sulley were able to do so while Cutter, Val, and Tylor are tasked to repair the damaged room before it becomes a dead door. Meanwhile at Mike's office, Sulley enters and Mike explains to him that he wasn't affected by the infant whom he names her "Snore" and as Sulley discusses with Mike about a big game featuring a match between the Monstropolis Creepees and the Red Shocks which they would go for today, which Mike plans to take care of Snore. Meanwhile at the Creepees Stadium, Mike and Sulley enter with Snore (in a monster costume to avoid getting recognized as a human by the monsters), Mike and Sulley find perfect seats for the Creepees while Mike cheers on TJ Clawson, a baseball player, only for the Red Shocks to score, much to Mike feeling uncomfortable by a Red Shocks fan cheering for his team who is above Mike. As Mike and Sulley discuss with each other, the Red Shocks fan above him feels irritated while Snore suddenly cries, much to Mike attempting to calm her down while the Red Shocks fan is still angry with Mike for making him uncomfortable while watching the match. TJ Clawson, however, scores against the Red Shocks (also knocking out the Red Shocks fan unconsciously), causing the Creepees to score against the Shocks just as Mike and Sulley leave the Creepees Stadium with Snore with them.

Mike and Sulley return to Monsters, Inc. with Snore with them where the two enter Snore's room which was suddenly reactivated by Cutter, just as the two were able to safely bring Snore back to her room which was suddenly repaired by the MIFT team while Mike and Sulley were away, not noticing Snore crying and just before Mike puts Snore back into her crib, he decides to sing Snore a lullaby, successfully calming her down and placing her in her crib while placing a baseball on Snore's crib just as Snore falls asleep. With Snore back into her room and her room successfully repaired, Celia praises Mike for taking good care of her.
