Reina Carvajal is a character that appears in Upside-Down Magic. She is a Flare and Nory's best friend.

After arriving to the academy, the pressure to excel in class cause her powers to didn’t work for the first time, but when she discovered the book of Shadow Magic, she apparently improved. But in truth, she was turned into a vessel for the shadow magic (which speaks to Reina into her mind under the disguise of a fellow flare student named Chandra, in order to convince her to fully give up her body), who eventually took over her body and planned to bring Sage Academy to its knees. But Skriff, Nory, Elliot, Pepper, and Andres stopped her with their magic, allowing Reina to regain control of her magic and expel the dark entity from her body.
