Pit Crew is an animated short starring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, originally aired as part of the House of Mouse episode "Gone Goofy".
Synopsis[]
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy work as "Pete's Pit Crew", wherein Pete is at a raceway awaiting the crew, threatening to pinch off their heads if they don't show up. However, Goofy had disassembled the truck looking for the source of a squeaky sound (which turned out to be a rubber ducky in his hat), and when he reassembles the truck, he ends up putting everything back in wrong. Mickey offends Goofy by saying they may need a new partner, but quickly backpedals and says that Goofy needs a new hat. He responds by taking Donald's hat, then Mickey's ears, and then wearing their girlfriends' hair bows.
The truck then runs out of gas. The trio reach a gas station, but due to Goofy's poor re-building skills, they are unable to find the gas cap. When Mickey asks him where it is, Goofy opens up various doors on the truck, revealing things like a gas lamp, a gas meter, a gastropod (snail), and their "Gast of Honor" - the Mad Hatter, who points out a nearby hat store where he got his hat. Goofy tries out so many hats at the store, that Donald and Mickey have to pull him out after they finally get the truck running again.
After quite a while of Goofy still trying on new hats, Mickey finally says his old hat was fine, and he regrets what he said earlier. They arrive at a hill overlooking the race track, only to find that Goofy forgot to put the brakes back in. The truck ends up zooming down the hill so fast that it blasts right into the race-track, taking Pete with them and accidentally winning the race.

- Goofy disassembling the truck to find a squeak is a reference to the old Mickey Mouse short, Mickey's Service Station, where Mickey, Donald, and Goofy disassemble Pete's car to find a squeak.
