Cantor Philip Harry "Phil" Baron is an American voice actor, puppeteer, musician, and songwriter, who had a very successful career in music stints, such as being an executive for Rhino Records, as well as producing songs written and performed (often with Will Ryan) for Disney children's titles. Baron also served as an additional puppeteer in Episode 103 of Muppets Tonight. Additionally, he provided the voice of the well-known children's character Teddy Ruxpin in the book-and-tape series, as well as the 1986 animated TV show The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, and created and voiced some characters in The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth.
For Disney, he voiced Piglet in the Disney Channel live-action/puppet television series Welcome to Pooh Corner. He also composed the music and provided additional voices for Welcome to Pooh Corner and Dumbo's Circus, as well as the musical score for Donald Duck Presents. Additionally, he was the writer of several episodes of the Disney TV series Adventures in Wonderland.
He retired in 1998 to become a cantor.
