Justin Randall Timberlake is an American actor, singer-songwriter, dancer, and record producer. He is best known for his extensive work in music, with sales of over 88 million records. He is also well-known for his various acting roles, such as playing Carlton Garrett in the 2009 comedy-drama film The Open Road, Sean Parker in the 2010 biographical drama film The Social Network, Scott Delacorte in the comedy film Bad Teacher, Dylan Harper in the romantic comedy film Friends with Benenfits (both released in 2011), Jim Berkey in the 2013 black comedy-drama film Inside Llewyn Davis, and for voicing Arthur "Artie" Pendragon and Branch in DreamWorks' Shrek the Third and Trolls franchise (respectively), as well as Boo-Boo Bear in the 2010 live-action/animated film Yogi Bear.

For Disney, he starred as one of the Mouseketeers in the former variety show Mickey Mouse Club. He also portrayed Jason Sharpe in the 2000 telefilm Model Behavior on ABC. Additionally, he was mentioned in the Hannah Montana episode "Been Here All Along", the Liv and Maddie episode "Sing it Louder!!-a-Rooney", the Raven's Home episode "Baxter's Back!", the Jessie episode "Coffee Talk", and the Lizzie McGuire episode "Picture Day".

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Timberlake began performing as a child. At age 11, he appeared in the CBS television game show Star Search, performing country songs as "Justin Randall". After appearing on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club with castmates (such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, JC Chasez, Ryan Gosling, and Keri Russell), Timberlake then recruited Chasez to partake in an all-male singing group organized by boy band manager Lou Pearlman that eventually became *NSYNC. After nearly seven years of success with the band, they went on a hiatus in 2002, giving him an opportunity to pursue a career as a solo artist and actor, though they have since completely reunited again in 2023.

Some of his well-known songs include "Cry Me a River", "SexyBack", "Rock Your Body", "Suit & Tie", "Mirrors", "Take Back the Night", "Say Something", and "Can't Stop the Feeling!".
