John Soursby Glover, Jr. is an American actor and voice actor, who, for Disney, voiced the Babysitter in the Dinosaurs episode "Terrible Twos", Abraxas in Tron: Evolution, Dyson in Tron: Uprising, the New York Times Reporter in Agent Carter, and the Devil in the ABC Studios TV show Perception.
Glover was born in Kingston, New York and attended Wicomico High School and acted at Towson University. He began his career at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, and later studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Milton Katselas. Glover is best known for a range of villainous roles in films and television shows, including Lionel Luthor in the Superman-inspired television series Smallville.
He appeared in other films, such as Annie Hall, Julia, Ed and His Dead Mother, Mountain Men, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Willy/Milly, Scrooged, The Chocolate War, Meet the Hollowheads, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, RoboCop 2, Batman & Robin, Mid-Century, and Shazam! He also appeared in television shows, such as Kojak, Murder, She Wrote, Miami Vice, Tales from the Crypt, Frasier, Animaniacs, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Batman: The Animated Series, Brimstone, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Heroes, The Good Wife, Fear the Walking Dead, Lucifer, and narrated the show Haunted History.
