Jennifer Kate Hudson is an American recording artist, actress, and spokesperson. She made her film debut as Effie White in the 2006 film Dream Girls. She also appeared in Sex and the City, The Secret Life of Bees, and Black Nativity.
For Disney, she played Calliope in the Disney Cruise original production of Hercules: The Muse-ical and modeled as Tiana in the Disney Dream Portrait Series in "Where You Always Follow Your Heart". She also voices Mane in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

- In August 2021, while answering the web's most searched questions in the YouTube Channel WIRED, Hudson expressed her desire to reprise her role of Calliope in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Hercules[1]. She also sang "The Gospel Truth II" while playing Song Association with Elle in the same week[2].
