Jelani Alladin is an American actor, singer, and dancer, who, for Disney, appeared in the Disney Theatrical Productions musicals: Frozen as Kristoff and Off-Broadway production of Hercules as the titular hero.
Alladin grew up in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City and attended high school in New Canaan, Connecticut. He was active in lacrosse as well performing in school plays. He later attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied a variety of acting styles including cinema acting, song and dance acting, and vocal performance.
After graduating, Alladin began appearing in off-Broadway productions of The Lighting Thief: Percy Jackson Musical, Nassim, Sweetee, Choir Boy, and a revival of Don't Bother Me I Can't Cope. He also appeared in regional productions, such as I and You (TheatreSquared), The History Boys (Palmbeach Dramaworks), Violet (Clarence Brown Theatre), and the world premiere of Josephine (Asolo Rep) before making his Broadway debut with Frozen.
His on-screen credits include various short films and television shows, such as FBI, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Blue Bloods, and the miniseries Fellow Travelers as Marcus Gaines. His film appearances include Respect, Tick, Tick...Boom! (2021), and Beneath the Fold.
