George Young Newbern is an American actor and voice actor, who is best known for his roles as Danny in Friends, and Payne in Designing Women. He has also provided the voice of Superman in many pieces DC Comics media, such as the animated series Justice League whenever Tim Daly became unavailable. He is the husband of actress Marietta DePrima.
For Disney, he played Bryan MacKenzie in Father of the Bride and its sequel, Neal Morris in the Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped, Dr. Nick Townsend in the Disney Channel Original Movie Buffalo Dreams, Charlie in the ABC TV series Scandal, Dan Lynch in Adventures in Babysitting, and Thomas Reynolds in Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups. He also voiced Sephiroth in the 2006 video game Kingdom Hearts II.
