Ed Oxenbould is an Australian actor, who, for Disney, portrayed Alexander Cooper in the 2014 Disney fantasy-comedy film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
Oxenbould was born on June 1, 2001 in Melbourne, Australia, and rose to prominence for playing a 9-year old Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, in the 2012 short film Julian. Subsequently, he appeared in the television series Puberty Blues as David Vickers from 2012 to 2014 and became more well-known for his role in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. He also appeared in other feature films, such as Paper Planes, The Visit, Better Watch Out, The Butterfly Tree, Wildlife, and The Exchange. Additionally, he voiced Sweetie in the 2020 animated superhero film Combat Wombat. His other television credits include Underbelly: Razor, Tricky Business, Soul Mates, Australian Story, Comedy Bang Bang!, Diary of an Uber Driver, Reckoning, Bloom, and Irreverent.
