David Cross is an American actor, stand-up comedian, director, and screenwriter, who is best known for his multiple roles in the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David. He is also well-known for portraying Tobias Fünke in the Fox/Netflix sitcom Arrested Development and Ian Hawke in the live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks film series. Additionally, he is known for voicing Master Crane and Minion in DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda franchise and Megamind (respectively).
For Disney, he voiced Fear in the Hercules series episodes "Hercules and the Owl of Athena" and "Hercules and the Aetolian Amphora".
