Brian d'Arcy James is an American actor and musician. He is primarily known for his Broadway performances, such as Titanic, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Shrek the Musical. He has transitioned to films with Spotlight, Molly's Game, First Man, and Bombshell. On television, he did work in Smash and 13 Reasons Why.
For Disney, he played the President of the United States in Dark Phoenix, Derek Bishop in Hawkeye, and Police Sergeant Krupke in West Side Story. He also portrayed King George III in the off-Broadway production of Hamilton before getting replaced with Jonathan Groff in the Broadway production.
