The Owl House[]

"Once Upon a Swap" - When Lilith sees Luz as Eda escapes, Lilith looks directly at the audience.
"Art Lessons with Luz" - In one scene, Luz shows King how he, Eda, and Hooty are drawn on paper.
"Adventures in the Elements" - At the end of the episode, Hooty tells the viewers, "I will be haunted by my actions forever, hoot-hoot!"
"Wing It Like Witches" - At one point, Luz says that "every great sports story includes a training montage." When Gus asks what a montage is, what follows is a meta-montage of Luz explaining to Willow and Gus what a montage is. At the very end of the montage, Gus wonders why they were having a tea party in pajamas, to which Luz replies by saying that "what happens in the montage stays in the montage." After Amity gets injured and Luz offers to take care of her, Gus asks if they can have a montage, and Luz responds positively. Following this is a montage of them using their magic to change Willow's scores and Amity coming to the Owl House.
"Agony of a Witch" - After summoning members of the Emperor's coven, Lilith looks toward the audience and tells them that they are going to capture Eda. She then looks directly at the viewers after defeating Willow.
"Escaping Expulsion" - At one point, Gus suggests they try to enter Blight Industries' presentation by distracting the guards with an illusion of "hot ladies", after which Willow responds with, "This isn't a cartoon from the '40s, Gus!"

"Welcome to Monsters, Incorporated" - At the end of the episode, either Roz or Roze tells the viewers, "Keep watching, always keep watching."
"Meet Mift" - At the end of the episode, Val tells the viewers: "You watched all the credits! That makes you a true MIFTer!", followed by Fritz saying in echo, "MIFTer!"
"Little Monsters" - At the end of the episode, Needleman and Smitty talk about what production babies are.
"It's Laughter They're After" - At the end of the episode, Fritz says that he hopes there will be a second season (which there will be).
"Powerless" - Similar to "Welcome to Monsters, Incorporated", at the end of the episode, either Roz or Roze tells the viewers, "Always keep rewatching."

During the theme song, Scratch asks the audience, "Is there a way to hit restart?"
"Festival of Lights" - After the song "Deep Fried Food", Scratch asks the viewers if his tongue looks okay after burning it from eating a churro.
"Friend-Off" - During the song "One Best Friend", Scratch responds negatively to the verse: "He's got power, but she's got the brains." He and Libby reply that themselves will remain. Scratch then pauses the song with a time out so he and Libby can recover their energy, and the chorus faces the audience when they sing: "An epic battle to the death."

Characters occasionally interact with the pop-up and split screen effects in several episodes.
"Moon Girl Landing" - Lunella tells Casey that if their plan to expose and defeat Aftershock fails, the show will get cancelled after one season.

"Double Troubled" - When Addison recalls the events in "I Think We're a Clone Now", she briefly looks to the audience.
"Youngins & Dragons" - When Zed tells Zoey they are not in a TV show, they, along with Eliza, Wyatt, and Bree, look towards the audience.

The series in general works like a fake documentary, where several characters speak directly to the camera as if they were being interviewed, this case being Joy, the Mind Workers Paula Persimmon, Xeni, Janelle, Jean Dewberry and Gigi, Rainbow Unicorn and the Canadian Boyfriend were the interviewees.
