Anne Hampton "Annie" Potts is an American actress and voice actress, who is best known for her roles as Janine Melnitz in the Ghostbusters films, Mary Jo Shively in the CBS sitcom Designing Women from 1986 to 1993, Mary Elizabeth "M.E." Sims in the Lifetime drama series Any Day Now from 1998 to 2002, and Gigi Stopper in the ABC comedy-drama series GCB in 2012.
For Disney, she voiced Bo Peep in the Pixar Toy Story franchise, Syrinx in Hercules: The Series, Scarlett Secord in The Rocketeer, and Miss Mary Elizabeth Zingwald in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. She also played Louanne Johnson in the ABC TV series Dangerous Minds.
