Rock Serpent

Rock Serpents are a species of snake that inhabit the Sumos woods.

Description[]

Rock Serpents are by far the most lethal creature in the woods. Very territorial, a Rock Serpent that feels threatened can level many Yantars of woods in an attempt to destroy its perceived challenger. They originate from the Ban-Gafi Rift, and few travel near here.

They attack their opponents by shooting through the earth around them, a poisonous tail, and with energy beams that come from their eyes or mouth. They can re-grow parts of their bodies, as they are made of rock.

Battle[]

When the Defenders leave the Dojo on their quest for the Pure Stones, they are attacked by a Rock Serpent. Seth uses his visor to discover that it is being controlled by the Order of Infinis. The Defenders team up by blindfolding it and blowing up its tail, but it simply regrows the tail and fires energy beams from its eyes to destroy the blindfold. They then summon their guardians to attack from the ground and air, and Kragus lands a blow into its exposed underside.

It burrows back into the ground, but soon re-emerges defeating their guardians and healing itself. It creates a ring of fire that blasts onto the ground in waves, and it destroys all but one of the Defenders' shields. In a last ditch attempt, they form the Warrior Henge which fires a powerful beam of energy at the Rock Serpent. The attack is successful as it is fried to the core, and crumbles to the ground.
