Description[]

Carry Load dictates how many items you can carry. It can be increased in a variety of ways, and different items contribute a different amount towards your carry load.

In order of carry load given:

Fists of Fortitude gives 1 carry load.
Pack Mule gives 1 carry load.
Champion's Regalia gives 1 carry load.
Gourmand gives 2 carry load.
Unstoppable Force gives 2 carry load.
Destructive Recovery gives carry load.
Pitcher gives 3 carry load.
Pocket Sand gives 4 carry load.
Unwavering Resolve gives 4 carry load.
Shield Breaker gives 4 carry load.
Captain Etrea gives 4 carry load.
Lootskipper gives 4 carry load.
Duelist's Dance gives 4 carry load.
Spine Cutter gives 6 carry load.
Rain of Static gives 7 carry load.
Jolt Cast gives 7 carry load.

This includes every source of carry load that isn't a regular Talent.

In order of carry load given:

Emergency Repairs gives 2 carry load.
Spare Nails gives 2 carry load.
Treefelling Blow gives 4 carry load.
Hook, Line, and Sinker gives 4 carry load.
The Union Initiate outfit gives 10 carry load.
Saltchemist gives 20 carry load.
The carrying capacity echo upgrade gives 5 carry load per upgrade, with a maximum of 30 extra carry load.
- Each upgrade costs 50 echoes.
The Pathfinder's Backpack gives 35 carry load.
- To fully optimize your carry load, get the Grand Pathfinder's Backpack instead.
The Grand Pathfinder's Backpack gives 50 carry load.
The Packmule Boon gives 50 carry load.
The base character starts off with 100 carry load.
Strength increases your carry load by 1 for every point of strength you get.
- Canor and Khan can get up to 103 strength due to their 3 starting strength, resulting in 103 extra carry load.
- Gremor can get up to 102 strength due to its 2 starting strength, resulting in 102 extra carry load.
- Every other aspect can only get up to 100 strength, resulting in 100 extra carry load.

All of these miscellaneous sources combined would theoretically provide 375 carry load.

Total Carry Load[]

Combining both Talents and other sources, the total amounts to 557. However, your character can carry 20% more than your carry load would normally allow, with the drawback of gradually reducing your movement speed. Accounting for this, the real maximum theoretical carry load is 668.

Due to attribute limitations, the current best carry load build can only get 546/655 carry load, found here.

If you create a build that gets more carry load, please edit accordingly. It is advised to use the aforementioned spreadsheet to calculate your final carry load, as the builder website does not account for all sources, like strength or Spare Nails.

Trivia[]

Interestingly, if you reduce your carry load (by taking off a backpack, for example) while at maximum capacity, you can still carry your previous max amount of items, even after rejoining. Though, if you drop any item, you won't be able to pick it back up.
