Woton was an enemy of Captain Marvel, Jr.
History
The Nazi scientist Professor Anton Smock created an Ambition Animator, which he used hooked up to Adolf Hitler. The product of his animated ambition was Woton, a towering strongman inspired by Norse myth. Woton was sent to New York to undermine morale, and Smock was sent with him - or be sent to a concentration camp.
Woton made a big show in the city, claiming to be just one of thousands of super-soldiers. Captain Marvel, Jr. failed at stopping him at first, but lured him into the water where he could restrain him. Smock, who had sat in a harness on the giant's back, escaped but was captured. Faced with the choice of being a prisoner in America or in Germany, he chose the former. He told Captain Marvel, Jr. about the Ambition Animator, and the young hero flew to Berchtesgaden to destroy it, ending Woton's existence.
