Synopsis for "Times Past: Grail"

In a flashback, Grail faces Perseus, commenting how much this mighty warrior decreased in skill and might as he stopped living as a true immortal. Selected by her father Darkseid to hunt down and kill the sons of Zeus, Grail gathers the life force of her victims, feeding them to her father as he was reincarnated into a baby, and needs to grow quickly if he wants to put his plans in motion. At the end of her fight with Perseus, Darkseid tells her she is finally ready to face the greatest legend of all: the Mighty Hercules.

All started three months before: after she lost her father to Batman, he did what she had to do to find him again, now in the form of a baby. With their mental connection, Darkseid was able to communicate to her what he needed as food: the life force of an Old God. As the old pantheons had disappeared, Grail found out that Zeus fathered many children who lived in the mortal world, all with a spark of his power, a spark that could provide Darkseid a way to grow up. After defending her father from an attack by a specialized A.R.G.U.S. team called the Atomic Knights, she killed many and many sons and daughters of the king of Olympus, the last Perseus and Hercules. And now she is on the Aegean Coast, with Darkseid grew up to be twelve years old.

She is here because of another son of Zeus: a fisherman called Jason. Going for the kill, Darkseid stops her, telling Jason is not like the other sons of the Old God. He's special, and he is Wonder Woman's twin, a thing Grail also remembers being told from her mother, even if she believed it to be a lie. Darkseid tells her he has different plans for Jason, and that he will test soon his might with other opponents. For now, they will simply observe.
