- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the DC Animated Universe and is an adaptation of Aztek. The original character was created by Grant Morrison, Mark Millar, and N. Steven Harris and first appeared in Aztek: The Ultimate Man #1.
- Aztek was voiced by Chris Cox for the episode "Question Authority" and Corey Burton for the episode "I Am Legion".
