- Tsukuri is inspired by Katana. In fact, according to Rich Fogel, Katana was originally in the running to be featured in Fury, but "it ended up being easier to create a character rather than draw one from the comics."
- In the same interview, Fogel explained Tsukuri's motives for following Aresia were born out of her romantic feelings for her: "Tsukuri, who [was] more her sidekick, was in love with her and would follow her anywhere."[1]
