The Snowglobe contains the Flashpoint Timeline.
History
Batman found the snowglobe in the Time Masters' Time Lab, along with Janey Slater's wristwatch. Batman used the Anti-Crisis Energy suffusing the watch to trap the Flashpoint Timeline in the snowglobe as a pocket universe in order to save Thomas Wayne's life, as he could not survive in the main Multiverse. Thomas initially attempted to escape, which would have had catastrophic consequences if he had succeeded, and the Time Masters fought to get it back. However, Thomas came to recognise that his timeline was as valid as any other and accepted it, as Bruce had predicted he would, and the containment stabilised. The Time Masters allowed Bruce to keep the snowglobe as they had larger concerns when the pods holding the members of the Thirteen failed and they were reintegrated back into history.[1]
In one possible future, Helena Wayne used the energy in the snowglobe to travel into the past in order to foil Per Degaton.[2]
