Synopsis for the 1st Story

Impulse tries to travel to Timepoint to get Gold Beetle's help searching for Max Mercury, but somehow ends up trapped in the wasteland dimension, known as "Ickto", with him. The Uncoiled devour the other trapped speedsters and chase the two of them down. Just as they appear to be doomed, the Linear Men teleport in and save them.

Inspector Pilgrim meets with Impulse and Max on the Linear Men's station. He tells them that he is a time traveller and over the next few weeks from the moment they left Earth, reality breaks down and it has become impossible to travel more than a few months ahead of their time. In short, something has destroyed the future. Bart says him that the people at Timepoint will know what to do, but Pilgrim tells him that Ickto is Timepoint, destroyed by whatever is causing the damage to the timeline.

On Earth 0, Barry Allen emerges alone from the Speed Force three days after he went in, covered in blood and with no idea what happened. He looks for Wally but cannot find him, and when he goes to Wally's home he finds that Linda doesn't seem to care that Wally is gone and is incapable of focussing for more than a few seconds at a time. She absently says that when Wally is gone she hears "the pipes" clearer.

Barry assumes that the Pied Piper has once again turned to evil. He attacks Rathaway at Terrifictech, where he is now employed, accusing him of causing the Flash Family's recent troubles with hypnotic suggestions. Mister Terrific stops Barry and tells him that he has been monitoring Hartley and knows he is innocent. They reveal how Wally has gained access to other levels of reality, which they term the "SpectraVerse", but also tell him that Wally disappeared from their sensors when he and Barry entered the Speed Force three days ago.

On the Linear Men's station, Pilgrim leads Impulse and Max to a hanger where Gold Beetle and dozens of speedsters from Timepoint are suspended in stasis. He tells them that when he was attempting to travel forward in time and ran into the void that the future has become, he received a sudden message from the Arc Angles, who told him that reality was breaking down due to the speedsters. Impulse realises they haven't been rescued, they've been arrested. They try to run, but the Linear Men overpower them and call in extradimensional spiders known as "Widows" to trap them in cocoons.

Wally wakes up in the Gallery of Moments and the ghost tells him that he still has lasting wounds from the attack. Wally is shocked when he sees a huge statue and asks what it is. The ghost replies that she believes it is an Arc Angle.
