Synopsis for Batman and the Elongated Man: "The Hangman Club Murders!"

The Hangman's Club is a charity organization that helps find jobs for ex-criminals and when the chairman of the organization is killed by hanging, Batman and Elongated Man team-up to find the "Hangman". The heroes keep track of the criminal using the clues they find at the crime scene, but the killer is always one step ahead and he manages to claim two more victims who were benefited from the Hangman's Club.

When the heroes finally catch up with the Hangman, the villain manages to outsmart them and he escapes, leaving them hanging for their lives. Without much to work on, the heroes return to the Wayne Foundation Penthouse, where the answer about the criminal's identity comes to them thanks to a remark made by Alfred Pennyworth.

Batman and Elongated man soon capture Thomas Quigley, one of the members of the Hangman's Club, whose real purpose was to kill his wife and gain her inheritance. He started the whole Hangman scheme, hoping that the police would assume that his wife's murder was the work of a serial killer who attacked at random and although he managed to kill his wife, Batman and Elongated Man found enough evidence to deduce the man's identity and real motives. With the "Hangman" captured, Batman and Elongated Man deliver the crook to the authorities.
