Tarzan is a franchise built around a series of books written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, starring the ape-man known as Tarzan.
History
DC had the license to produce Tarzan comics from 1972 to 1977. Many other comic publishers have also produced Tarzan comics, before and after DC, including Dell, Gold Key, Marvel, and Dark Horse.
