Takeo Yamashiro was the owner of the Soultaker Sword prior to Katana. Takeo killed his own brother with the sword after joining the Yakuza.

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the video game DC Legends and is an adaptation of Takeo Yamashiro. The original character was created by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo and first appeared in Batman and the Outsiders #9.
