Synopsis for "Out of the Deep Woods (Part Three)"
Gus walks down the street with a weakened Jepperd riding on the top of a horse. He thinks about how everyone dies which means everyone ends up alone. Gus pulls over to spend the night in a barn. Jepperd is delirious and mumbles the name, "Louise".
Gus heads down the street to check a nearby house for supplies. He finds the residents already dead. He finds a small boy's corpse clutching the book, Dandy. He grabs the book and heads back to the barn.
Gus returns and speaks to Jepperd who is still out of his mind from losing blood. When Gus falls asleep, he has visions about the deer Dandy from the boy's book. Dandy warns him in his dream that Jepperd is a bad man and he needs to run away. Suddenly demon wolves bark and scare Dandy off in his dream.
Jepperd wakes Gus up because of his bad dream. He rebukes him for eating all the candy. Gus stands up to him. Jepperd appreciates that Gus grew a pair and went to get food and stitched him up.
Gus thinks back to how his father taught him five golden rules. He thinks about how he's broken almost all since he met Jepperd:
- Never have a fire during the day, people will see smoke
- Ever see someone besides his dad, run
- Pray everyday so lord doesn't make him sick
- Pray for his mom who was priest lady ever
- Never leave the woods
As they enter town, they find hundreds of dead bodies piled together. They suddenly hear a noise in a nearby building. They break in and find a bunny-hybrid girl named Becky.
