Pete Maddox was a destitute Gothamite who turned to crime after discovering his propensity for prophetic dreams during a cold winter.
History
He altered his plans from becoming a thief and gambler to killing Batman after the caped crusader interfered with his attempts to rob the Gotham Diamond Exchange, though Maddox managed to escape. Eventually his search for cold sleeping places led to his death when he slept in a meat cooler and froze to death.[1]
