Peregrine was a winged superhuman.
History
Her wings were surgically removed and sold to a supermodel, leaving Peregrin with severe phantom pain. Endless Winter was responsible for this after she started a superhuman organ theft ring, selling the organs to rich customers. Doctor Mid-Nite was alerted to the crisis and stopped Winter, retrieving many of the stolen organs.[1]
