Mister Aqua was a liquid villain of Plastic Man.
History
While chemist Duncan Groat was experimenting with chemicals to create a catalyst that would make solid water at room temperature, a chemical explosion. In the aftermath, a sentient creature made of water called Mister Aqua was created. Not only could Mister Aqua speak English upon creation, but he also was self-aware. After coming into being, he accompanied his creator Groat to a science convention, but Groat was a laughing stock as no scientist believed his claims. Mister Aqua took this personally and drowned the science council president.
Plastic Man tried to stop Mister Aqua, but the creature escaped into a sewer grate. He later re-appeared to offer Groat a chance to be his partner in crime, but when the doctor refused, Mister Aqua tried to kill his maker. Plastic Man and Woozy Winks saved the chemist from his monster. Mister Aqua was vanquished by Woozy when he accidentally drank the creature.

- This version of Mister Aqua, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
- The character Human Puddle from the Plastic Man pilot "Puddle Trouble" seems to be based on this character.
