The Many Angled Ones were demon lords from Hell
History
The Many Angled Ones were summoned to Earth by a human, and bound their-selves to serve him. A vessel was provided to hold their power while on the planet, but the vessel was torn asunder and they were released in Gotham City.
When the beings arrived at the city, Tommy Monaghan, Natt the Hat and the superhero group Section 8 arrive and begin fight against the beings. Flemgem, Jean de Baton-Baton, Dogwelder, Friendly Fire, Defenestrator, and Shakes were killed in the battle.
When Sixpack faced off against the Many Angled Ones, he seemingly protected himself in a forcefield. The beings sensed a great power within him, which could be reality altering abilities. They strike a deal with Sixpack, offering to leave the Earth if he is willing to enter their world and fight them. If he fails they will take his soul, if he wins he is free to leave. Sixpack sacrifices himself and The Angled Ones disappear, taking him to their realm.[1]
