Prefect Lamar was a prefect of Xanthu.
History
He was often trying to bolster the ranks of Xanthu's super-hero team the Uncanny Amazers and make them as prestigious as the Legion of Super-Heroes. Many of the Uncanny Amazers ended up leaving for the Legion of Super-Heroes, much to Prefect Lamar's chagrin.
