Karl Kesel (b. January 7, 1959) is a writer.
Professional History
Karl Kesel spent time at the Joe Kubert School and Hartford University. For eight months, he worked as an art director at Hartford Woman. He moved to New York City to break into comics, and was noticed by Sal Amendola at a comic convention. His first DC work was in New Talent Showcase. Soon after, he was inking Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
Personal History
As a husband and wife team, Karl Kesel and fellow comics writer Barbara Kesel, wrote Hawk and Dove together; they have since divorced.
Today, he is a member of Periscope Studio; a Portland, Oregon-based storyboard and comic book artists collective.
