Synopsis for "Power Play"
On Apokolips, Kalibak sends his forces to slaughter the Hunger Dogs of Armagetto to enforce his place on the throne. The Hunger Dogs start to fight back, turning the massacre into full-scale warfare. Pleased with the outcome of his schemes, Kalibak stops the fight and welcomes the Hunger Dogs into the ranks of his new order as ruler of Apokolips, backed by Darkseid's wife herself, Tigra.
Meanwhile, the New Gods of New Genesis question Metron why he's trying to revive Darkseid, to which Metron replies that the Apokoliptian is a necessary force in the universe: there must be evil for good to flourish. The Genesisians agree with Metron, but Takion suggests restoring Supertown before Darkseid is let loose in the universe again.
