Synopsis for "Menace in the Iron Lung"

When Baron Tyrano makes claims that Green Lantern caused extensive damage to his estate, Hal falls for the trap appearing as Green Lantern to find out what is the real reason for making such a claim. Hal however is unaware that Tyrano calling himself Iron Lung (because he is literally living in an Iron Lung) has made a plot to use a special human shaped missile to split Green Lantern and Hal Jordan into two distinct personalities.

When the plan succeeds, Iron Lung has Green Lantern captured when his ring runs out of power and binds him to a machine that will switch their bodies. Meanwhile, Hal Jordan rushes back to his room and gets his power battery, and manages to break into Tyrano's mansion and bring it to Green Lantern, allowing his alterego recharge his power ring. The two then help break up Tyrano's organization, and afterwards Green Lantern and Hal remerge into one entity and Tyrano and his men are turned over to the police.

Hal reports to work the next day and tells his boss that the claim was fake, and was all a ploy to get the Green Lantern to make a public appearance.
