Green Lantern Corps #202 is an issue of the series Green Lantern Corps (Volume 1) with a cover date of July, 1986. It was published on April 17, 1986.
Synopsis for "Turf"
John Stewart leads Kilowog and Salakk to the island where Guy Gardner left Hector Hammond, but they find no trace of the villain. Instead, they face off against Doctor Polaris' crew once again. The three Green Lanterns manage to defeat the group of four villains, including the newly added Truk. John gets knocked out during the fight, and they retreat. Kilowog creates a life-support system to help the wounded John during the flight back home.
In California, Hal Jordan returns to Ferris Aircraft, where he learns that his friend Tom Kalmaku is now a contractor for the company. Hal also discovers that Mr. Smith now owns Ferris Aircraft. Later, Hal talks with Carl Ferris, who has been removed from the company's board of directors and believes his daughter, Ferris, was killed by Smith to threaten him. Carl then asks Hal to spy on Mr. Smith to find something he can use against him. Hal accepts, but he knows that Carol is alive and that Smith's company was just a front used by the Predator.
Meanwhile, Katma invites Arisia to her and John's apartment. Suddenly, Arisia gets dizzy and claims that her body is adjusting to Earth. She then asks Katma to keep it a secret, to which Katma agrees, still unsure of what happened.
Elsewhere, Ch'p tries to communicate with the squirrels and raccoons at the park, but he realizes that the animals of Earth are not as evolved as the ones in H'lven, and he starts to feel lonely.
All Green Lanterns reunite at the Citadel, where they decide to go after Doctor Polaris's group. Tracking the ultrasonics of Sonar's gun, they find the villains at a castle in the nation of Modora. The Green Lanterns and the group of villains clash once again. During the battle, Malignon, a mysterious woman in Polaris's crew, stands still and watches them fight until she uses her radioactive powers against John and reveals herself - or rather, himself - as Doctor Ub'x of H'lven. This villain, who faked being Polestar and Truk in their previous battles, claims to be Ch'p's oldest foe, determined to destroy the Green Lantern Corps.
