"Final Crisis: Revelations" is a tie-in storyline to Final Crisis, dealing with the issues of Justice, Vengeance and Judgment in the DC Universe. It focuses around Crispus Allen, the most recent incarnation of The Spectre, who has yet to realize his full potential in his role, not enjoying the responsibility of bringing brutal murder to the Spectre feels deserve it either.
Synopsis
Following the beginning events of the Crisis, and the death of Martian Manhunter,[1] The Spectre exacts justice on the ones responsible for the Manhunter's death. He kills Doctor Light and Effigy, and goes after Libra, the new head of the Secret Society of Super Villains. However, the Spectre is unable to discern Libra's real name when he attempts to, and the villain is actually capable of fighting against the Spectre with much ease. Forced to retreat, his only defeat as the Spirit of Vengeance has added more discontent to Allen's role as the Spectre. However, his eyes are now mysteriously the same orange tint as Libra's.
At the same time, Renee Montoya (The Question) continues her personal vendetta to hunt down the members of the Religion of Crime, who have sworn to kill her for denying her role as their leader[2] (after accidentally killing their original leader). The members are looking for the mythical rock which Cain used to kill Abel. Renee tries to fight off the members, although they actually do find the rock. Shortly afterwards, Allen shows up as the Spectre and informs her that it is her time to be judged.
