Synopsis for "Family Secrets"
Spartan and Majestic continue their journey in Asia as they fly over the ruins of Beijing. Majestic shares with Spartan that the initial explosions wiped out whole cities such as Beijing and many survivors are granted sanctuary to Finland, which is one of the very few surviving nations standing and only accepting non-superhuman people. He also reveals The High is ferrying survivors to Finland's borders. This information left Spartan perplexed as he believed The High was responsible for the current state of the world, but Majestic corrects him that it was The High's clones that did this. But before he can continue, Majestic senses the other Wildcats have found Savant. Spartan then proceeds to punch Majestic into a building in order to buy some time for his teammates.
Meanwhile at the Halo Building, Ladytron is in the nursery surrounded by screaming kids. She's on her cell phone talking to her robot boyfriend. Her call is interrupted by one of the children, who informs her that there are monsters outside. Ladytron looks out the windows and sees a group of Daemonites, who breaks in.
Back in Hawaii, Zealot rushes to free Savant, for she knows Majestic has been alerted to their plan. She questions Savant as to why Majestic captured her. Savant replies it was for breeding, but it was through artificial means. She explains that Majestic told Nemesis and Backlash about Savant's situation and they agreed to offer their donor services if Savant was allowed to go free. Furthermore, after she had learned the truth about Majestic and Zealot being her real parents, Savant went to stay with his father at Mount Rushmore. But she noticed a change in him. After Armageddon, Majestic brought Savant to Hawaii and he became obsessed with creating his utopia and heirs. Although Savant does not justify Majestic's actions, she believes there is something other than Armageddon that has driven him mad.
Spartan and Majestic continue their battle above Beijing. In the middle of the battle, Spartan is left badly in disrepair but he makes a last effort to stop Majestic by self-destructing his android body.
Grifter, Voodoo, and Nemesis join up with Zealot and Savant as Majestic's forces chase after them after Zealot sets off the alarm to Savant's cell. Savant uses her tech to teleport them to the M.I.R.V. where they find Spartan has downloaded into a new body in the cargo hold. Spartan informs them that they must hurry because Majestic is coming for them.
No sooner does he say this does Majestic come barreling into Maul. Spartan tries to distract Majestic so Maul and the others can escape but Majestic pulls an important component out from Spartan's chest, preventing him from downloading into another body. Warblade jumps in to help Spartan but Majestic grabs Warblade, contorts his body into a ball of blades and hurls him at the M.I.R.V., damaging the transport. As the Wildcats face Majestic, Ladytron radios in and tries to inform them the Halo Building is being swarmed by thousands of Daemonites.
