Synopsis for "Dr. Zorn: Soul-Master"
When the Phantom Stranger is present when a famous musician goes mad during one of his performances, he follows him to his doctor: Matthew Zorn. Zorn has a very famous clientele including celebrities and military personnel. The Stranger feigns illness so that he can go and see the doctor, and is given one of his special "medicines" which creates a powerful hallucination in which Phantom Stranger is ruler of the world.
Shaking off the effects of the drugs, Phantom Stranger decides to investigate further. He soon learns that the medication created by Zorn causes high ranking military officials into becoming paranoids who are mailable to his will. Zorn is attempting to condition them into assassinating the President of the United States. Thanks to the Stranger's intervention, the President is saved and Zorn's plot is exposed.

Synopsis for Spawn of Frankenstein: "The Terror and the Compassion"
The Spawn of Frankenstein awakens from a dream to find a young woman about to be raped by her date. The Spawn scares the man and woman, and carries the fainted woman to safety. However the man revives and tries to run down the Spawn, but the monsters strength and durability only ends up wrecking the car and not harming the monster.
When the girl revives from her spell, she flees the monster and tries to get away, she ends up running into a cult who wishes to use her as a sacrifice in one of their black masses. The Spawn tries to go to her rescue, however he is confronted by the man who survived the car crash and wishes to slay the monster.
