Synopsis for "Where In The World Is Billy Batson? Part Two"

At an underground cave, Freddy finds himself surrounded by the army of Kull, King of the Submen. Thinking fast, Freddy introduces himself as king of the surface world and states that he came to parley with Kull.

Meanwhile, Mary and Hoppy has reunited with Billy, who has received assistance from Uncle Dudley. Billy is curious as to how Mary knows Dudley, who replies that Mary saved his life and since then, he has done community service and help people however he could, and to defend himself from agressors, he carries a crowbar with him. Dudley explains that monsters have been crawling out from ghost stations and abandoned tunnels like the one they're in right now and that's how he came across Billy.

Mary talks to Billy in private and scolds him for running away, but Billy says that he ran away because his presence keeps putting his family in danger. He has tried to figure out what's wrong with himself but the Rock of Eternity dragged him to this station because of a magical disturbance. Suddenly, they are attacked by another horde of monsters and since Billy refuses to transform into Shazam, Mary teleports him and Dudley away so that she can fight the monsters without having to worry about them. She tells Billy to find Freddy.

Kull has offered Freddy a place at his table so they can have a conversation. Freddy wants to find a peaceful solution, but Kull says that Submen lived freely in the surface world until they were driven underground by humans, led by someone Kull refers to as the "Child of Lightning". He admits to miss the feeling of freedom and power that came with walking above the surface rather than under it, something that Freddy can relate to now that he himself no longer has superpowers.

Kull says that, while the Child of Lightning imprisoned his tribe beneath the surface, outsiders have broken the seal that kept them trapped and now, the Submen are ready to invade again. He is also aware that Freddy is not really a king and he had only been humoring Freedy because Kull found him intriguing, but now the time for conversation has passed. Kull teleports Freddy back to the subway tunnel that led him to Kull in the first place and Freddy finds a mysterious girl waiting for him. She has used grafitti to paint magical symbols across the walls and even teleported Freddy to Kull's lair.

Meanwhile, Mary is surrounded by monsters and the tunnel she and her friends are inside begins to collapse. Shazam begs Billy to let him help his family, to the point he refers to them as "his family". Billy sees a little boy crawl to a tunnel and tries to save him, only to find a mysterious door. Once he opens the door, Billy enters an open grassland where the boy he was trying to save tells him to run. Billy has to choice but to do what the little boy says as they are chased by a monster.
